Will we ever see another Alicorn?

This isnt about Twilight. This is about a new Alicorn in general, Do you think we will see a new alicorn, before Cadance came I tought no, But now I am not so sure.

Now The only way I could see a new one without reveryone complaining is him or her not being too OP.

Also IF there way one I would prefere if it was atleast one of these two:

1) Its being Evil: Because almost all of the alicorns are good Mary Sues. Look at this

Good alicorns: Luna+Celestia+Cadance=3

Evil alicorns: Nightmare Moon (Lunas elter ego so shes just half a alicorn)+ Chrysalis(She not even a pony but I will concieder her half an alicorn.)=1

So the Good alicorns are three times bigger than the Evil ones.

2) It being a Stallion: nuff said.

Now to end this thread, would you like a new alicorn? Would you throw a fit if a new one appeared? How do you want it?

I don't really see why not. I'm sure there will be a few more. Considering season 3 isn't that last, and season 4 won't hopefully be that last, i think there's potential for a new alicorn.

My first reaction to the question is "when Twilight gets that promotion" but that's an ongoing discussion on whether alicorns are born or occur later (when they become royalty). Makes sense that some other royal out there will show up at some point (no Crystal ones sadly). Hopefully season 4 if not sooner.

 

Of course the real question is when will we see a quadricorn.

I'd love to see some new alicorns~! Big ones, small ones, over-powered, hardly has any powers, royal, non-royal, more changelings, more fluttercorns. You name it. Wolfie wants them all~~~

But if I am being realistic (cause the stuff I listed is never gonna happen), I'd like to see at least Skyla become a real alicorn, instead of just being a toy. That would make my day 20x over~

 

 

Oh, and to add on to what Concord showed, there were other alicorns in the show:

These three were in the B.B.B.F.F. song. You can see them when young Shining Armor pretends to salute along with the Royal Guards.

And this one was in that story book in the Hearts and Hooves Day episode.

 

 

But if I remember correctly, those royal guard alicorns, the alicorn in that book, and the alicorn filly that Concord showed were all confirmed to be animation errors. :c So, technically, I don't think they're actually real alicorns... /cry

Personally, I think three Alicorns is more than enough, anymore and they won't be special..

 

It's like how Dragonball Z handled Super Sayians (STORY TIME!):

 

At the beginning of the series (or middle if you include Dragonball), Super Sayians were a legend. No one had ever seen one, and whether or not the form even existed was under constand dispute. So, naturally when Goku becomes a Super Sayian (spoilers), it's unique and special, and sets him apart from everyone else. However, then suddenly Vegeta becomes one, and it's less special. Then Future Trunks and Gohan become super sayians, and it's just boring. By the end of the series, even Goten and Trunks become super sayians at the age of 7, and it's just comical.

 

The point is; we have more than enough Alicorns already. Celestia and Luna make sense, Cadance was a bit of stretch. What's next? Alicorn Applebloom?

Exactly why I think DBZ should have ended with the fight with Frieza. 

 

Alicorns should be special, and I liked the fact that the only ones for a while were the two most powerful beings in Equestria and if they weren't gods or demigods they were the closest thing available.  Even just having Cadence around diminishes the value of the position, IMO.

I wouldn't mind seeing one or two more alicorns especially a non royal or a stallion or maybe a villain. All I ask is that they don't overdo it alicorns are supposed to be rare after all.

Theres only three Alicorns since NM and Chrysalis dont count. So if we add another one or two it wouldnt harm its rareness. Hell in our planet something that only a million people have is rare. Neverless five people

I don't think it's necessary. I could have done without Cadence being an alicorn to be honest. Lauren Faust never intended for her to be one, and when has it come in handy on the show besides that time Shining launched her like a javelin? xD

 

Actually I wish the word alicorn had never become canon, because now we'll never stop hearing it around here. I would have liked them to keep quiet about Celestia and Luna and keep us guessing about what they really were.

There doesnt HAVE to be another Alicorn, But how come Cadance gets one? But not Sombra or BlueBlood? I am just saying that Luna Celestia and Cadance are pretty much all Royal Good Mares. Wouldnt a non Royal Evil Stallion Alicorn be a change?

Maybe not to the "target audience" but I am sure it would sell among some bronies, I wouldn't mind having a King Sombra figure it would really tie up my room nicely. Sure he hasn't lived up to his potential as a villain but you have to admit he looks badass.

I don't, but I'd imagine that Hasbro, a giant company that's been in the toy business for 90 years, knows a thing or two about what toys would sell and what wouldn't.  There's a reason why there's only one male pony figure, Shining Armor, and it would be kind of odd for a wedding playset to not have, you know, the groom. 

 

It's a risky venture, and I'd side with their expertise.  Unless there's a huge fan outcry like there was for white Celestia and other figures, don't bank on it.

And regarding the Shining Armor toy, that toy was being planned long before the episode even aired, so fan demand has nothing to do with it.  Plus notice that he's *only* sold packaged with Cadence in wedding sets.

If you keep introducing more and more characters that are alicorns, the original ones don't seem nearly as important. I do, however, like the decision to make Cadance an alicorn. It allowed Hasbro to give the retailers their pretty pink princess pony, and us our white Celestia. A complete win-win situation.

Frankly I'd like to see Alicorns introduced/explained as a race. As a race of pony that's similar to the LOTR elves.

If the Twilight rumor is true, then that nullifies your first point. And consider this: when we were first introduced to them, the two existing alicorns had direct control of heavenly bodies. This made them seem like the gods of the pony world, which is why a lot of people still see them as extremely powerful beings. Of course, they were brought down by the revelation that unicorns raised the sun and the moon before Equestria was founded, and the introduction of Cadance made them seem a little less important. So personally, I don't want to see them downgraded any more, and I feel that both Twilight becoming one and the introduction of even more would do just that.
