RP Thread

 

The Omniverse, a place where there is an unlimited amount of worlds and a place anything is possible. A place where people capture creatures in tiny balls and train them to fight in tournaments or preform in contests. A place where a man can dress as a bat and use his money and intellectual skills to be one of the fiercest crime fighters ever. There is even a place where technicolor ponies live with other mythological creatures such as dragons and phoenixes. But in each of these worlds, there is evil, conflict, someone or something always tries to take everything for themselves. But in the end they are always stopped by a hero. Some times this hero is accompanied by friends but whatever the case may be the evil is stopped and peace is restored.

 

But what if it were different? What if one day there was an evil far too great for one hero to defeat alone? On that day evil would finally triumph and do as they please. Well it seems that day has come. An entity known only as the Z-Virus has been unleashed into various worlds, destroying the very fabric of reality as it travels from world to world with only one goal: destruction. This "virus" is said to have the ability to control anything it pleases, wither it be something as strong as Galactus from the Marvel universe to the smallest bunny of Equestria, it seems none are safe from it's influence. As if it wasn't bad enough the Z-Virus has gathered villains from several these worlds.

 

It is not known what allies the Z-Virus has amassed or what even created the virus in the first place. All that is known is that there is hope, if heroes from each world band together to stop this threat then peace can be restored.

 

 

Welcome everyone to my new RP. Seeing as the one RP im inis moving kind of slow at the moment I figured I'd try my hand at making an RP again. So without further ado lets get to the rules.

 

Rules:

No spamming/trolling

 

Try to be active, inactive members will be kicked from the RP and replaced if possible. If you are going to be a away and can't post then please PM me and we'll go on from there.

 

Please try to use good grammar and spelling

 

While I don't want each post to be it's own short story it should be a few sentences long.

 

No OCs. I know some of you will be turned off by this but there are plenty of characters to choose from.

 

Speaking of which everyone may only choose two characters max. I may raise this depending on how many people actually join but as of now the max is two.

 

 

Ok now that the rules are out of the way let me explain how this will work. As stated above you may only choose two characters. These two characters can be anyone from any franchise or series as long as they aren't OP. If you think a character is OP just ask me and I'll decide. Also you can choose villains but wither they work with the Z-Virus or not is up to you.

One last thing, being the "dungeon master" of sorts, I will be controlling any major events as well as the virus itself. I will probably need another dungeon master to accept people and set up events because I'm lazy busy. So if you feel like helping me out then by all means do so.

 

Forget that, MelancholicMemory and Cranium Tyranus are helping me as Co-DMs. They are able to accept/deny people and can start events if the RP is moving too slow.

Ok, those seem like fun choices. I'm quite fond of Punisher so I'm glad someone picked him.

 

Also each comic company has it's own universe. So all Marvel characters are in the Marvel universe and all DC characters are in the DC universe.

To be honest I'm not sure, I don't really follow comics that closely. When I do read comics it's Spider-Man or something Marvel related.

He can basically just kill any being if that being is under his own power or tier likewise, but otherwise he'd have to strategize and find his opponents' weak points. He can teleport for miles. His power is barely limited, but he needs to rest after killing a being depending on its power tier. He's not much of a thinker, but rather a really good doer. He obeys most all commands given by the team. Some really high tier beings can simply wipe him from existence. Oh yeah, and he's not really connected to his vessel, so if the human he's in dies, he can go into another body. This takes some time, though.

Hehe... okay, i wont do the whole 'im crazy' thing, but i am TOTALLY up for this roleplay. First up THRESH! A League of Legends Champion (if thats allowed) here is his Lore.

 

Thresh is a twisted reaper whose hungry chains ensnare the souls of the living. A moment's hesitation at the sight of his ghostly visage and there is no escape. He leaves in his wake hollow corpses, their souls ripped loose and trapped in the sickly green light of his lantern. The Chain Warden takes sadistic joy in tormenting his victims, both before and after their deaths. His grim task is never complete, and he stalks the land for ever more resolute spirits to unravel.

Thresh carves careful, deliberate paths through Valoran. He handpicks his targets individually, devoting his full attention to each soul in turn. He isolates and toys with them, gradually eroding their sanity with his twisted, maddening humor. Once Thresh takes an interest in a soul, he does not relent until he possesses it. He then drags those he captures back to the Shadow Isles for an unimaginably dreadful fate. This is his only purpose.

Little is known about the Chain Warden's past, and many of the details live only in nursery rhymes and campfire tales. They tell of a sadistic jailer from centuries past who took great delight in torturing his wards. Patient and brutal, he used a variety of methods to break his victims' minds before their bodies succumbed to his grisly designs. Chains were the jailer's preferred instruments of terror. Their shrill scrape marked his dreadful approach and promised agony to those he visited. His dark reign went unchallenged until his prisoners escaped during a massive riot. They overwhelmed him, and without ceremony or remorse, hanged him from his own chains. Thus began the unlife of the horrible specter known as Thresh, or so the tales go.

Thresh now haunts the land, leaving an aftermath of horror and despair. However, there is a devious purpose behind his dark machinations, and the meager spirits of average men are insufficient. He seeks stronger souls. Only when he has broken the wills of Valoran's most resilient warriors will he finally have what he needs.
