Though I may not play it often...Spore is a fantastic game and I highly suggest getting it.

Hello!

 

When i found Spore at first. I thought it was the best game ever! It really was. It's an Amazing game, the creature stage was always my favourite. I wish i had the chance to play it over the net, but, considering i was a "Pirate" (Yo hoo hoo), I could never use Multiplayer

 

Definately, worth the money! At least, for me.

 

Maybe i liked it to much for the Creature stage. But i'll agree on some urdies statement's tho will not agree about the "creating a plant as your character" Thing :|

If you're into evolution, yes. It is a great game (played it but then it crashed on an old computer).

Did you do space age? it takes 1000 missions (AT LEAST) to get half way through plus that you need to have allies enemies BE ON EVERY PLANET HAVE A HEALTH BAR ENERGY BAR AND CELESTIAS PLOT ThaT FREAKING ANNOYING ENEMY THAT IS 10X STRONGER THAN YOU... Now that its solved please consider playing it AGAIN.

Oh my.  I see the space area takes a long time.

 

What mean is, The time it takes to play from being a single celled organism, to the point that you are a space fairing civilization, takes only a few hours.

 

I have plenty of space fairing civilization games. And much better ones at that.

 

Spore might be an ok space fairing civilization game, but it should have had the first several sections of the game be equily long. the first phase takes literally five minutes. The second twenty, third an hour, fourth another hour, then i believe the fifth is the space fairing civilization. And that one apparently takes 1000 missions twice?

 

Eh. If I want to conquer the galaxy i'll play sword of the stars. Or maybe master of Orion.

 

I was dissapointed with spore because it's not the game that it says it is. but whatever. I didn't say it was a BAD game. Plenty of people obviously think it's a great game.

 

I just said that I was dissapointed with it.  And that I was glad that I wasn't the only one that was expecting more.

It's pretty fun. I'm not sure how much it costs nowdays, but I'm pretty sure it's worth spending that. And I'd say the expansions are just as well.

 

Spore is pretty simplistic, but stylish, fun and can last for a long time, especially if you like designing your own things from a scratch. Also the evolution and development stages always change what the game is and how it plays, which prevents linear gameplay.

Yes it take so long plus that you gotta maintain all your planets so that you get income to get bux to buy stuff for your ship destroy around lemme see 100000 enemies... And more to just complete the freaking game!

yes yes yes yes YES! i myself really want to buy it, i played it on my friends computer and its simply awesome.

besides, its fairly cheap nowadays, the other day i saw it at walmart for 15 bucks, and you can probably find it even lower used at gamestop or a pawn shop etc.

It's alright, personally I didn't like it but you didn't give us any details on your taste in game. That said it is an interesting and unique game, but I wouldn't.

I loved the game, but actually I didn't like it so much when they were already at the humanoid level (Tribe levels +). The "animals" were most of fun imho.
Anyway, it's a great game, Maxis proved if they're good at something, it's simulators.

(But I would just download it if I were you...)

I want reveiws on the spore mc/mac game as i am going to buy it as i have seen really good vidos is it worth spending my money on??

Well, the game itself is good, only in the beginning or your first playthrough though, i started to get bored after a long playthrough, The character creation is an unique feature and possibly the best from this game, but that is not enough to make the game good and fun.

My recommendation, don't even bother, download the demo and start creating stuff just when you are bored, because you will get even more bored when you are playing the full game.

 

Already have bro and its the best Rpg i have ever played. Cant wait to get spore wanted it for YEARS  And i cant beleive next week it will be in my hooves or claws but whatevs yay!

 

Another recommendation, if you like RPG's like skyrim  then you should play Demon's Souls (PS3 only as far as i know) or Dark Souls (360/PS3/PC) and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

Demon's Souls and Dark Souls are tough games, completely different from skyrim gameplay, but it still has the same feeling on the environment and character customization.

And Oblivion, i find it way much better than Skyrim, i would have recommended Morrowind, but if you get turned off by bad graphics then it's not your game. Oblivion has moderate graphics and a much better story and slightly tougher gameplay.

spore was interesting when it first released. but  it wares off really quick

 

The DRM in the game is a game stopper,

Space stage is a dead end stage.

No multiplayer makes this a one tricky pony with no real replay value

 

Spore adventures brought some of the love back. being able to land and go back into 3rd person mode but it too wares off quick.

Spore Cute and Creepy pack just added model features

 

 

DarkSpore was just stupid.

The best part of spore was the Collectors edition and the History Channel documentary  that was included

its a fun game to play, I haven't played it in a while, but its pretty enjoyable. You can make some pretty cool stuff in it. Its actually quiet a long game to totally beat it though, as in getting to the center of the universe and stuff in space stage. I didn't find it like super challenging or anything, but then again I just played on normal so whatever .

 

Its a fun game, its not like super hard or anything, but ya know its still got its charm.

 

I kinda wanna go play it again now...
