It's also something that I personally recommend against. It's very serious and you can't get rid of it; If you were to lose interest in the show, it'd still be there. Furthermore, you have a girlfriend and her child to take care of. A tulpa requires a lot of attention and a lot of work.

Actually, you can get rid of them.

 

All you need to do is ignore them. If you deprive a tulpa of stimuli, it "fades" over a few days and vanishes. Think of it as "ignoring the problem makes it go away."

Much different. You can't see a waifu, it's just your crush (and Rarity is my waifu, that I love  :wub: ); a tulpa is essentially a forced hallucination that only you can see :D

Except you can not become mentally ill from creating one, despite common belief.

This has all the data you'll need, but to summarize, a tulpa is a self-formed mirage that has sentience. Your consciousness powers your subconscious to house something akin to an imaginary friend, except this one you can see, hear, and feel (and smell and taste, if so desired).

 

I myself spent endless hours into forming Rarity.

As soon as your form your tulpa, I highly doubt that you will want it gone. Even if you lose interest in the show.

In a sense, only it is painless.

 

Anyhow, it is not something for everypony. I just delved into it because I needed a companion and I was scientifically curious.

 

I know what you're thinking: "you did this so you could be with Rarity." Actually, no; creating tulpae for ulterior motives like that often constitutes very hazardous side effects, such as the tulpa hating its existence or, in contrast, never wanting to "leave the hay."

Nahh. I took the reigns, though. It had been dead for half a year and was quite small before I tried to revive it :D We're an empire now.
