Do you think it's a good idea if we had one of these? It would definitely be made abundantly clear that grownup material would be found there, and all images would have to be linked. Or just maybe, it could be a secret forum. If it already exists as a secret forum I'll feel really stupid, but I think we should have one of these, what with all the pony rule 34 floating around.

 

EDIT: I didn't make this thread because that's the only thing I came to the site for; I made it because that's a huge part of the MLP community. Sorry if it came across the wrong way, I'm here for the other forums too.

Rule 34 infects a lot of other sites and it's easy enough to go there for them. This site has people of the younger persuasion who it's illegal to see it. Plus people could make extra accounts faking their age just to see them and we'd get a flood of users coming just to be in the secret forum.

 

It would quite honestly be a shitstorm if we had one so I think it best to keep this forum clean of such boards.

 

I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm all for Rule 34 itself; just not on this site which has been pretty wholesome for the most part. I'd prefer to keep it that way.

Yeah I was kinda surprised to see some of the saucier stuff from Ponibooru posted on EQD lately. I guess it's getting more popular among some circles. Iunno. Seems like a natural extension to me with any show/game/something shippable that has an older demographic. People love the 'what if X hooked up with Y' game.

Eh, maybe so. But it just seems like too much of the furries to me. If you know what I mean...

 

I don't mind shipping. Cause that's keeping it in the world of Equestria. Ponies dating ponies and so on. That's perfectly fine. But when people make saucy pictures of ponies that are meant to arouse humans who see them... well that's just a bit wrong I think. I'd rather go look at actual girls for that sort of thing, than depictions of animals (however adorable) looking like that. To quote from the great Galaxy Quest, "Oh, that's not right!"

I can imagine what a non-brony would think of us if they stumbled onto a NSFW forum. Fingers would be pointed, names would be drawn, a herd segregation would be called to order, the stalk markets would collapse, and there would be rioting in the streets with trolls peddling pitchforks at every corner.

 

In other words, it isn't a good idea.

I hear you. Some of the pictures get pretty ridiculous. I don't mind shipping/clopfics, as long as it's well written.

I don't personally get off to ponies so much as I love to see anthropomorphic versions which makes them more human. Some people don't look at it that way but I do.

 

Some see anthro versions of animals (i.e. furries) just as the animal they represent, others will look at them more as a human rather than the animal they represent. Furries don't get off to animals; they are attracted to their favorite animals, or animals they like, looking more like something they are attracted to naturally: The human body.

That is a good question. I've seen a few pics on here that have been questionable.... I'm not sure what qualifies as "too much".

Anything close to sexualizing ponies I find creepy. Hopefully that is considered "too much". I wont complain though, I can just learn to avoid members who post that trash.

No. It doesn't currently exist, and it's not going to.

 

All it would do is segregate the community and tell visitors that we've got porn here - kids for one would be scared, and bronies looking for a clean, relaxing place to just talk about the show will go running.

 

I understand that there's an audience for clopfics, pony porn, and other work that portrays ponies in suggestive/erotic/sexual ways, but I sure as hell didn't get into the show to jack off to unicorns and rainbows - not to mention I find that kind of content utterly repulsive and not in line with Faust's world at all. What I wrote for the rules sums my stance up perfectly:

Also, please don't draw anthro art into this - I am aware that not all anthro/furry-style art is of a sexual nature; and as such, humanized ponies are indeed allowed here. The "safe for work" kind, anyway. It's not exactly my thing, either, but I don't have anything against its existence.

Trust me, this place isn't gonna be getting much dirtier than allowing swear words. It's difficult to define unambiguously what pushes the limits "too much", but generally anything that might make someone wince or feel uncomfortable with the site would end up in a discussion between myself and Kurt.

 

All warnings and bannings will be done on a case-by-case basis. How we decide to punish a member for posting pony porn will depend on their history of previous warnings, their standing within the community, and just how far past the limits they went. The pony equivalent of Two Girls, One Cup may be something you could receive an instant ban for, but we only leave that for the most extreme cases. A temporary account suspension is more likely.

I must say when I registered here I was quite elated to see that adult oriented content is prohibited here. If it were allowed, I would undoubtedly been scared of coming back ever again. It's My Little Pony for crying out loud. It's cool that we have so many fans of this show, ranging from females to males, young to old. However, I say we should be respectful and keep the environment nice and clean so that everyone, including the show's target demographic of younger children can feel welcome here.

 

Besides, aren't there other Pony forums that allow all of that mature stuff? Why not just migrate elsewhere if you want that?
