So, I was thinking lately about the finale

Which Airs on my birthday yay!

And I realized we were overlooking some very good points because Hasbro trolled us by releasing the damn spoilers of Alicorn Twi.

What are they distracting us from?

The episode is about ponies SWAPPING cutie marks...

We may be seeing strange things.

A pegasus Pinkie Pie and the return of Surprise?

What about this?

I don't think they're trying to distract us from anything. I'm sure they just felt like saying Twilight's an Alicorn, I don't know why though. But I really don't think they're hiding anything.

If somehow it turns out to be fake, or somehow "Wears off" I'm sure it's all for publicity. The original reason why it was made was because of toy sales, another benefit this could be to Hasbro, would be publicity from the brony communities all over the internet. At this rate, it would benefit them in both ways, regardless of what we think.

Well, I don't think they're trying to DISTRACT us, but anywho, I'm really excited for this finale. Is it going to air tommorow? I forget. But it looks super interesting, and I hope that it's good (Oh, heck, it WILL be!)! I know it's about swapping cutie marks, but I wonder what that exactly means. Switch their destinies probably, but will it change their personality, or change them in any physical way (like switching wings and horns)? 

 

Either way, it looks pretty cool. Can't wait!!! :3

I think everything that's happened so far is because of a random red herring and that everyone is overreacting and that we should all calm down before Pinkie Pie becomes a super-alicorn and owns everything or something.

They aren't distracting us. They wanted our attention and they got it. All they really want is ratings for that premiere, and they're gonna get it. Haters, supporters and in-betweeners of the Alicorn Twilight thing will all tune in.

 

Regardless of Alicorn Twilight or not, just the mere concept of switching cutie marks is bound to be hilarious.

Hasbro did not troll Bronies by releasing spoilers of Alicorn Twilight. They THRILLED little girls. Bronies are only a small fraction of the fandom, after all.  I've always had the impression that Hasbro kinda wishes that Bronies would all go away, and leave the show to it's intended target audience of children. I've even heard that they considered cancelling the show and not even having a second season, because they were embarrassed by the flood of r34 and clopfics erupting all over the internet. Perhaps they are intentionally trying to make Bronies lose interest by making Twilight a princess.

Why would they want to distract us from Twlight Sparkle? Hasbro has emphasised her importance numerous times through various advertisements. Hasbro obviously wants the viewers to know that, for whatever reason, Miss Twilight Sparkle will become an Alicorn.

 

Just look at the line of toys that revolve around and embellish the Alicorn Twlight Sparkle figure! Think of the sales figures! Oh the horrid truth, the (marketing cam)PAI(g)N! The melodramatic agony!

 

If there was something more important going down in this upcoming episode that comes with potential marketing opportunities, something more symbolic than Twilight's Ascension, then we would most definitely know by now.

 

Until this focus shifts, my resolution will not waiver.

Actually thats the complete opposite of what i said. They are distracting us from something OTHER than Twilight Sparkle by dangling a shiny pair of wings in front of us. I would appreciate a little more thorough reading before going brony phsyco, thanks <3  ;)

Eh i dunno, I think it'll just be the cutie marks, and it may or may not involve the CMC. I thought about the CMC being involved, not sure if it'll happen but its possible of course.

 

While I'm still hoping a bit that Alicorn Twilight is some troll move or something, I suppose I'm going to put my faith into the developers regardless.

 

I dunno if they'll be switching everypony around, and I don't really think it'll be more then cutie marks, but I've been wrong before about episodes.

 

I'm sad that they didn't have an episode this last weekend though :(. I wish they did in a way, hopefully the next 2 episodes make up for it.. And Season 4 wait.. Oh boy..

 

Bah I'm rambling off topic sorry :P.

Well, actually I don't think they're going to drag Alicorn Twilight on as like a thing that happens in S4, maybe what happens after she becomes an Alicorn will, but still they already have said in the extended synapyse that shes going to be an Alicorn.

 

Regardless the S4 wait will be hard for me.. Whether it be like a week or a year :P.

Yeah, I know what you mean, they drop some big cliff hanger or something.

I really hope they don't. I mean I really don't like having to wait with Cliff hangers, I guess they're good for suspense and they can be good sometimes, but they do make the wait much more painful.

 

So far though they haven't thrown in any cliff hangers, but who knows maybe they will.. In that case I'll be twice as impatient.

They could do what ReBoot did and make us wait until the next season to find out what happens.

 

Twilight goes back to Canterlot for her Princessly duties, waving to her friends from the train with Luna and Celestia at her sides. The Mane Five disperse after a moment, going back to their lives. Fade to black, with the words "To be continued..." Then the credits roll to a hitherto-unheard theme song.
