I have a few friends that are learning Java since they're all huge Minecraft fans and Minecraft was basically made 100% in Java or something like that! :P

 

I HIGHLY DOUBT I could get them to make a Pony game with me, so I guess I've gotta teach myself how to make games! haha

I suggest you go look at the pony poker game thing that someone on the forum is planning. It's going to be in Java, 3 people including me have already signed up to help write code for it. Many others have volunteered to write or be voice actors.

DMC is garbage, my bro has 4 in the room & i seen 1, 2, & 3...they suck & i know about the anime too.

DMC was a pretty good series. Although I didn't care for 3 and 4 too much.

 

Ima put this out there. I want Disney to strike a deal with Hasbro so we can see MLP on Kingdom Hearts III

I barely know anything on Java.

What I meant to say was a group of friends and I were going to learn Java together. (we were actually going to make out own class in school since they had a Java class eons ago!)

 

I figure I'll try to teach it to myself eventually like I did for HTML :P

Why? And I also don't mean the rights, but just the chance to use the Ponies in KHIII. Not a KH fan?

 

No I like KH. Though I don't really see the point on Ponies being in the game at all.

Nothing to do with Square Enix. Nothing to do with Disney.

 

It just seems really silly.

 

Plus I just don't like DIsney... I mean KH is really the only thing left there for me! :P

Hm, you got a point. Although. It would be interesting to see Sora, Donald, and Goofy's pony forms. Plus I mean there was the "not so detailed main characters" in the pirates of the caribbean world, and then they were tranformed into lions in the Lion King world.

Equestria Online: This is a Brony MMO (RPG?) that basically makes the show’s world into a virtual sandbox. It’s a full 3D world with Flying and Teleporting (which both look pretty amazing).

MLP RPG: This one is a turn based RPG with… well you guessed it Ponies. I have yet to play the below demo, but I’ve heard it’s great!

I'm actually looking forward to Ponykart more than any thing else.

 

As for game ideas that haven't been made yet I'd go for an FPS. I'd prefer though if they had some silly way to still keep it in the innocent MLP spirit! Perhaps you use guns that shoot apples, appleseeds, cupcakes, confetti bombs, party cannons, rainbows, and things like that! I'd prefer if it played like the old Quake or Unreal Tournament games... that would be fantastic! I would never play another shooter again!

...but how would they hold the guns? :huh:

It'll be a 2D side-scrolling adventure that involves exploring all of Equestria and going on various quests from the townsfolk, missions from the Princess and fun mini-games around several locations. The game wouldn't be no small fry though. Story would last maybe the length of 8-12 EP's, all of which are original for the game, leaving the rest of the game for the exploration and several hundred side stories to get involved in.

The only characters available are the Mane 6, and background ponies would become available through DLC, specifically Derpy.

 

In contrast, it appears simple and short, but when you pick it up you are awed by the high quality vector-like animations, story telling and gameplay.

Just doenloaded the Equestria Online demo! Can't wait to play the actual version!

Well, the out of the ones you did list, most weren't that good. The first halo was great, the others are okay, I guess, but ever since 2, it seems like they've just been pushing them out because they know there are tons of people who will bend over backwards to buy them. Same with CoD, except worse. I haven't played much Gears, but I wasn't very impressed. Single player was okay, multiplayer sucked. Although I haven't player 3 yet, so that could be better, I don't know. marvel vs capcom is the one series you mentioned that I will agree on being "always good".

I'd like to see a MLP clone of the (somewhat) legendary Lost Vikings. Heh, I've actually been designing something along those lines for a day or two now, but haven't quite made my mind up on all the features yet. And with all the real programming stuff leaving little time for personal projects, the completion of this project is still a distant dream.
