Nightfall was almost knocked down. But he smiled anyway and hugged her back.

"I don't know if it's love or what, Snow, but... I do think I like you. I'd need more time to make sure, but I think I really do like you."

"Just forget the past 'loves.' They weren't loves, anyway."

Snow didnt care to listen to what Nightfall said. She was still in her own little world of happiness and bliss. Snow released Nightfall from the hug with a small, almost shy smile on her face. After a moment of thought she spoke up. "So... Ummm. You like me, huh?" She asked sheepishly.

''Friends? Well, that seems really nice of you that you already think of me as a friend.'' Splinter said while his blush became a brighter shade of red. ''Why in the name of Discord am I blushing so brightly! This is really nice of her, but the last thing I need is having myself run out of this conversation of nervousness!''

"R-really? Oh... Well, thank you, Splinter...", Rockshire softly said, her entire face a bright scarlet.

 

*Why am I blushing?! I'm never nervous like this! What if he thinks that my blush is ugly?! What if he thinks it's cute?! Gah, I can't handle most if this much more! I'm starting to get scared...*

"Just a close friend. What...you're not getting jealous are you ?" She asked, trotting over to the snack table and piling a plate with some veggies then grabbing a glass and filling it with some punch. She held out the plate of veggies in front of Light. "Do you want one ?"

"No, im not jealous. Why would i be jealous?" Light asked taking some of the veggies Star offered. He took a bite and chewed slowly, thinking and scanning the cave. Out in the distance he spotted Snow and someone else. *Maybe i should go say hi. No, she'll panic and you'll ruin her chances. But she's your sister, she wont panic.*

Star chuckled and munched on a few vegetables, Then she noticed Light looking off at Snow and...Nightfall. "Hey I know him...you wanna go say hi ?" She asked, looking up at Light, forgetting how he felt about his sister and other colts. "I mean...we don't have too if you don't want too...i'm easy."

Light looked surprised at her comment. "You know him? I... I guess we can go say hi." He then slowly made his way over to them. Light figured that snow heard him cause she turned to face him. Her expression was a mix of shock, fear and pleading. Though Light didnt think pleading was technecally an expression but he saw it. "Uhh, hey." Light said quietly.

"No, I promise, I'm not." He said, trying not to lose her. "I know I don't know you well but...the fact that you understand me, snd understand my music, I can't see how I could love any other mare. Please, just, give me a try. I really think I like you, I promise, I'll be kind to you, and everything."

Moonstruck's air of surprise seemed to intensify slightly. "Love? Already?" She looked at him for a few moments, eyes wide, then blinked and stared at a point just over his shoulder, her eyes glazing over slightly, apparently deep in thought.

 

What would Sunstroke tell you to do?

Well, that's obvious. She'd say go for it.

Don't bring up the Gernumblies. They're entirely irrelevant.

Regardless, my point remains valid, Self. Colts are all the same. They never seem to want much to do with you for long.

Well, how do we know this one isn't an exception, self? I say give him a chance. It's a party. The worst that can happen is that we never see him again.

Snow smiled wider. "I dont mind spending more time with you." She said about to lean in and kiss him until she heard hoof steps behind her. Turning she saw Light approaching. *Oh no. No, no, no, no, no. Dont you even think about doing anything.* Snow thought in panic. She was talen back by him just saying 'hi'. "Hey..." She replied lowering her ears to her head.

Light nodded at Nightfall then turned back to Snow. "Can i talk to you?"

 

Snow looked up at Light. If looks could kill he'd be six feet under by now. "No, you cant."

 

Light recoiled at the tone she used on him. "Snow come on." He continued and took a step towards Snow. She in turn scooted closer to Nightfall. Light stopped where he was and looked at Snow with a worried expression. "Fine." He turned to Star. "I guess come find me when you're done catching up." Light then trotted off back to the snack table.
