I decided to do a little drawing before learning for an exam.. So i decided to try to draw a Ford Fiesta.. The first time i have done that.. Then i added some ponies too it.

I realise that the Ford Fiesta isn't perfect.. but though it doesn't look exactly like the real deal.. It still looks like a car.. It's just practice.. just like drawing ponies.. it's harder too draw cars. I have done a Lamborghini before with a better success.. But it isn't on my deviantart.. But still i believe it turned out ok.. Hope you like it..

This was mainly just too draw Derpy driving.

its wierd that i can draw cars but not ponies. I think the Fiesta looks great. a little wide but im guessing it was due to the error you mentioned. It's good that Derpy is smiling since the Fiesta is fun to drive. Its a good picture, keep up the good work.

LOL. DERPY'S CAR SHOULD HAVE HAD AN AWKWARD HEADLIGHT LOL. But this is really cute!! The only critique I can offer is your coloring. Try and go only one direction other than that, good job!

I agree on you with the cars height, but it is far better than I will ever be able to draw automobiles. I find that Vinyl looks pushed towards Derpy, and then Pinkie is on the far side of the car. Is this intentional?

Thank you.. that with Vinyl and Pinkie, i wasn't really sure how big i should have drawn them.. So Derpy was first, i then saw that either the car would have too be too big or they too small.. So the car looks like it's huge, simply because they're actually rather small.. It's hard too put them in the car. I checked the drawing, this wasn't intentional.. I have often driven a fiesta and i can clearly see that the seats are all wrong.. They're too much a part.. But it's the first time drawing a Fiesta, i'll get the hang of it..

Thank you, the Fiesta is a little wide, there is a reason for that.. I measured the car, from a picture.. 10,5 cm so i made it 21 cm.. But sadly everything else didn't follow.. I should have just done it by eye, im better at that, instead of doing some mathimatical drawing.. Also yes.. Derpy is smiling since the Fiesta is fun to drive.. That was kind of the point with the image, i fell in love with the Fiesta when i first tried it..

Thank you, yes maybe it should have had an awkward headlight, but not sure what i would have done.. Colouring, i had no colours too draw with.. well except those you see, which are a few.. I will try too go only one direction next time..

 

Thank you all for your replies, but note that this is the first time i tried drawing a Ford Fiesta, so i realise it is far from perfect.. I had doubts about putting it out there, i myself didn't like the results..

Umm.... I have to say it looks nice, and the car does not look suckish to me but nice try. Anyways, I think Derpy might be a poor driver, and he might get into a car accident with some other car? LOL, jk. I also like the ponies inside the car. I might give this art a rating of 8/10.

Thank you, im not really sure, considering Derpy is unlucky, she probably would.. But she is just so cute that i would still let her drive.. lol Thank you for the rating, i didn't expect it too score that high.. Since i wasn't too happy about it myself.. But it's just practice i guess. My idea was that they were just listening too some wubs.. lol.. So it needed Pinkie Pie and Vinyl.. It wouldn't be a party otherwise..

Ford Fiesta looks like that here, we have the European model.. Which is btw made in Germany. But it doesn't have the red stripes.. It's still a sporty little car. Although, we don't get the most powerfull ones either.. The most powerfull ones are 1.4L.. of course, they are around 96 hp.. In america you have the 1.6L engines which are more powerfull.. We don't have them for some reasons but we have the 1.6L diesel engines, which has 95 hp. But the ones that you would really buy, because it's a cheap car is the one with the 1.242 litre which has *cough* 60 hp *cough*.. But hey as long as it looks fast it's ok... lol.. also the car has a great interior.. The first time i drove it, i was amazed how good it was.. For a small car that is.. i have tried many small cars, like yaris, peugeot and so on, and the Fiesta is without a doubt one of the best for it's class. And i am not used too being around small cars, have always been around suv's and just normal sized cars..

It's a nice car for the price...

Why didn't i think about that.. That's classic, Night at Roxbury was an awesome movie..Need to remember recommending that movie for next friday movie night. This makes me want to learn animations.. First go digital.. then do this scene animated exactly like that.. I could totally imagine them doing that.. if i will ever do animation this is what i would do.

Who knows.. she seems to be doing a good job driving... yet.. maybe one day she will finally decide to get her license...   

I too have this uneasy feeling you speak off.. I mean it's Derpy we're talking about.. the road can be a dangerous place.. But don't you worry, Ford Fiesta is a well built car...
