My fav pony is Rainbow Dash but i couldnt resist to make this one with Fluttershy

She simply got the best scenes to make a video with!

Took me 10 hours to create it... im new to sony vegas so im not that fast and good but i think ive improved compared to my first pmv

My favorite ponies are actually too many, i could try too count at least my top 5... Fluttershy, Derpy, Rainbow Dash, Vinyl Scratch, Twilight. Derpy was actually my first favorite pony, then it became Fluttershy, then Rainbow Dash.. Then Fluttershy again.. lol

The thing is, Fluttershy got me interested in starting watching the show.. Before i gave it a change, i watched compilations of her saying yay.. Then, i as i saw #savederpy, it made me interested in seeing who she was.. So i watched all of the episodes.. to see why everyone loved her.. Sadly i became attached too her.. so it was sad knowing that she could never be in the spotlight again.. But who knows.. maybe one day.. So Fluttershy got me started, Derpy made me watch loads of episodes a day. And know i have too many favorite ponies, that i can't even count them in the right order, everypony is best pony.. lol..

I actually made a pmv once, with Fluttershy and Nirvana.. But im not sure if i can put it out there without breaking copyright laws.. It's a shame, since i spent around four hours making it. Untill i learn more about copyright laws, i wont put it out there.

Thats how i came to Rainbow....

I dont know that much about Copyright laws but i think if you post that the characters are owned by hasbro and thehub and the music is by nirvana you should be alright

Giant Rainbow Dash painted with wax, that's amazing.. I have done many drawings of Rainbow Dash, one of them is actually 140 cm x 64 cm. It's pretty cool, i would love to have a RD, painted on my door. Put painting isn't really my thing, im not too good with a brush.. But i would probably manage too do it. 

 

Im actually thinking about putting it out there.. it has been a while since i finished it.. It was nothing special though, i don't have sony vegas.. It would just be plain old windows movie maker editing.. But i think i made it work. I should post it... in the worst case scenario, i would have too take it down.. Well, im going too think about it.

Ohh... well okay.. yeah i will.. It would be my first video. I was actually looking at it.. Maybe i could have done it better.. But it's my first anyway.. So i'll get uploading.. Right away.. Luckily i check all topics i have posted on, at least the recent ones. It will take a long time, it's in hd i think. I just hope i won't get a lot of hate for it..

It's up... i'll pm you the link. The uploading was faster then i expected. The thing is, when i made this pmv, i was actually going too use this here Liquido- narcotic .. but didn't.

I really loved how the effect faded in near the beginning. That was awesome! You do a nice job of setting a mood. And I totally understand the "Fluttershy isn't my favorite BUT SHE KEEPS ENDING UP IN ALL OF MY VIDEOS" feeling. Some ponies just have all the best scenes...

 

Just one suggestion to improve: perhaps try to vary your scene selection a bit more? I recall feeling this a bit in your previous video, too. Some techniques:

• Load an episode with a really famous/commonly-used-in-PMVs section in Vegas. Now try to find a good clip NOT from that scene. You'll be surprised at what you find! Good episodes for this are Party Of One (lots of great Pinkie Pie material), Lesson Zero (before Twilight goes full wacko, there's some subtler stuff), and, for a challenge, Sonic Rainboom (because almost everything in it has been used extensively). 
• Focusing your video on a particular character? Use clips NOT from an episode focusing on them. Supporting roles are an excellent source of material that add a little spice to a PMV. Some episodes I'd recommend are Suited For Success, Sleepless In Ponyville, and Spike At Your Service, but there's a lot of episodes that will work here.
• Remember; you can take clips from an episode and put them into a completely different context than they were in originally. 

Don't take this as me saying that your videos are bad, though! Far from it; I wouldn't have taken an interest in you if they were. And the amount of work you put into them is very good, and a clear sign to me that you will continue to improve. I'll be waiting for your next one.

I enjoyed this video very much.  Fluttershy has her fears, but when it comes to powerful animals and monsters...not so much.  She actually fears rejection and criticism from other ponies much more than any physical harm.

There may be some truth to that.  But the other truth is that you honestly love all six ponies.  Being listed number 5 or 6 doesn't mean you hate Fluttershy.  It's just a cruel but inevitable process of elimination.  If asked, I will say Pinkie Pie is my least favorite pony.  I honestly love her nearly as much as the other five, but I find her hyper outgoing nature and approval seeking to be a turn off.

@, Actually, you never ranked your favorites but thanks for setting the record straight.  That comment was a reply to Stellafera who is famous for listing Fluttershy as 5 or 6 of the Mane 6.  And yet, her best videos and essays include a very healthy dose of Fluttershy which means she still cares for the soft-spoken pegasus.
