Question for digital artist

I'm looking at getting a new drawing tablet in the near future but I have know idea which one I want to get. I'm thinking of getting something in the Wacom Bamboo family, but i don't know which one to get. After doing some asking around I'm pretty sure I want something in the mid sized range. But I can't figure out if I want to get the create, or the capture, or what. I would like to have the "eraser" on the other side of the pen and i think the touch capability would be great, but other than that I'm completely lost.  Please help me.

i have a  medium bamboo capture for my house, it dosent have an eraser on the back of the pen, and it still is a little small but i really do like it. my favorite tablet is the ones i use for school, its a wacom intuos3, they only make the intuos4 now, they are big, comfortable, have loads of options, and have an eraser on the back of the pen. Unfortunately the price difference is simply massive between the two, so unless you are planning to spend the amount it takes to get the intuos series, i would suggest the bamboo capture. But, picking a tablet (for me anyway) was more about personal preference, there's so many choices. i guess it would depend on what you find to be more comfortable! Mabe try some out :P , find out what you like before making a big purchase like a tablet!

The question here is - why do you want a tablet?

Everyone seems to want to get a tablet. You don't need one. I have one, yes, but I don't use it. Why? It's more of a nuisance then anything.

Simply; I can draw the following without a tablet:

So yea, please give more info as to why you want one. Most likely; you don't need one, so yea. :3

yeah I thought about the intuos, but it's a little out of my price range. I'm wanting to draw with it mostly, but I would also like to use it for photo editing, but mostly drawing. How would i go about trying them out without purchasing them?

Laptop touch pad. :3

Also - my tablet is a  Bamboo touch. I don't use it, but it's decent for beginners. Plus is comes with okay programs.

I had the Bamboo Pen and Touch a few years back, until it broke. It was like an extra trackpad, and the opposite side of the pen was a functioning eraser like the kind you mentioned. I don't think they still sell them anymore, but now I have the Bamboo Connect, which is pretty good. It doesn't have touch, and the pen doesn't have an eraser, but it has a much larger drawing space and it's really easy to store. Plus it's really pretty and shiny

Both of them costed around 80 bucks, incase you're wondering.
