I've seen similar mods that work by altering the fundamental engine of the game and replacing with third-party code.

 

My experience with Skyrim and Oblivion modding has shown me that those kinds of mods carry a high chance of making the game unstable, unless this Ponylicious mod works differently.

Here's a guide on setting it up. Though I'd wait if I were you, it hasn't been updated for 1.6 yet. Then again, if you haven't downloaded the new launcher and still have 1.5.2 then go right ahead. (though the new launcher lets you pick a version you want to use.)

It wasn't too much of a hassle but I was thinking of ways for how to do the hair. Sadly all hair is flat so I just went with was I thought of.
