The shade was gone and Mercer was merely unconscious.*

Ampyrion gaped in amazement. He walked over to the now unconscious griffon. He bent his head down to listen for a heartbeat, and to his surprise he found one, beating strongly. He sat back up and called, "He seems...fine. Although we may want to put him somewhere comfortable, he's knocked out."

Nidal worked quickly, bartering for cheap prices, often at the end of threats and once at the end of her rapier. She gathered the items she would need at last and threw them on C2's back. Without a word being said, she flew back up and away.

((Oh, and Apollo, make sure you keep your character's defining point to be betrayal. Here, I'm showing how she is still greedy mare, seeing as she had to work fast yet she still forced low prices.))

 

Crystal put down the shield around Mercer and strengthened the shield around the group. Her tears stopped and she smiled a little.

 

Void finally woke from his nap. He stretched his limbs before setting off to find some food on a nearby road.

Crystal levitated the bags off Cloud and began to rummage through them. "Wasted money? Nonsense. Now we have healing supplies to use when we need to and plenty of them by the looks of this." She closed the bags and set them to the side.

 

Nidal shook her head and looked around. "I'll be back in a bit. Gonna go earn some cash seeing as we're broke again." She flew off quickly, not giving anyone time to complain.

 

Void pounced on a duo of ponies and began to feast on their corpses right there on the road.

"Uhh, well, I was hoping to wake this guy up," he said, prodding the unconscious griffon with a hoof. "Not sure if splashing cold water on his face would do anything, but..."

 

"Eh, here goes," said Ampyrion cautiously, and he broke a water balloon over the griffon's face.
