Nidal shook her head and began to walk back to the group. "I'm fine... for the most part." The last part was said under her breath in hopes he didn't hear. She was feeling much weaker than she's used to, in many aspects.

Cloud gave her a concerned look, not fully believing her, but not pushing the matter. Turning back to the group, he said, "Well guys, lets head back to Appleloosa now" he walked close to Nidal's side, in case her body didnt agree with her that she was fine...

*Mercer who had been watching silently as this all had played out, walked up to Cloud*

"I need to talk to you. In private."

Cloud sighed, turning to Nidal he whispered, "I'll be back soon" then pecked her on the cheek, he followed Mercer, but making sure to stay within reach of the group, still not trusting him...

*Once they had gotten out of earshot of the others Mercer turned to Cloud, took off his pendant and handed it to him.*

Nidal barely registered the kiss and sat down to wait for C2 to get back. She sat down far from EB but still close enough to seem as if she wasn't plain keeping away from him.

*Mercer sighed and rolled his eyes*

"I need time away from the element. Don't worry, It can't and won't corrupt you in any way. But it is making me unstable. Due to my nature as its bearer. Plus, my mind is losing distinction between my soul and my father's. Example, my left eye has gone blind. I need time to sort that out, and the element's presence would make that all the more difficult. Please, I've told you before, and I will tell you again. I don't want to be your enemy. I don't want to be the element of betrayal. I just want Discord to fall so I can live my life in peace, just as you want to."

Having seen Nidal, EB was about to say something to her, but stayed silent. He wasn't sure why she was sitting a good distance away from him, but instead shrugged it off as her wanting to be by herself for a while. So he just sat down where he was as well.

"Hypocrite." *He said under his breath, just loud enough for cloud to hear as he walked off. He then put the element back around his neck, then flew off.*

In another flash of light, Lunar appeared next to Nidal. "You okay? I'd hate to see you in pain!" He said, smiling. He brushed Nidal's mane with his hoof, trying to comfort her.

Nidal kicked Lunar away from her and unsheathed her sword. All of this was done rather clumsily though. She pointed it at Lunar, the blade not holding steady in her current state. "Get out of here before I have to kill you. You got it? I don't need you nor did I ever."

Cloud saw Lunar once again, in anger, he ran to Nidal's side, glaring at Lunar, "What are you doing here?!" he commanded

Nidal kept the blade pointed at Lunar and backed away to get closer to C2. "You know I can't trust you. You'd just as soon lie to me as you would do anything else. It's in your soul to lie, to deceive. How can I trust someone like that? I'm sure that all you're here for is to try to screw me over in one way or another."

Lunar let out a heavy sigh and sat down on the floor. He stared at Nidal and Cloud. "You're dating him, aren't you?" He asked with a sad expression on his face. He didn't want her to say yes.

Cloud continued to glare at Lunar, he didnt like this pony one bit, he placed a forehoof on Nidals shoulder as she got closer. He felt very protective of her, even more so in her weakened state, He sized up Lunar, Cloud was Physically bigger and most likely stronger than him, but seeing as he was an element of disharmony, this pony wouldnt go down no matter how hard he would fight...

"I am. Now, leave us alone. Unlike you, he can help me accomplish my goal. Now if you don't mind, we really should be on our way." She leaned on C2 she forced him to begin to walk away from the room, to leave the building.

 

Back in Appleloosa, Void had worked fast. Most of the town was either destroyed or burning or a combination of both.

Cloud walked with Nidal out of the building, "I really dont like him" he said through gritted teeth, "He seems a little too touchy feely around you for my liking..."

As he followed suit, he looked back at Lunar before continuing along silently with the rest.

Nidal nodded. "I haven't like him since the day I left him. Can we just not talk about him? Please?"

Cloud looked to Nidal and nodded, "My pleasure" he said. He then noticed smoke rising toward Appleloosa, his heart sank, "Oh no..." he said

As soon as EB saw the smoke coming from Appleloosa, his heart sank as well. "Wh... What the..." was all he muttered before racing towards the town.

 

(And I was originally gonna use the "heart sank" bit too So don't call me a copycat, I just happened to see you post that while I was thinking about that bit)
