Absolutely everything is better in British. Rarity would become 2000% sexier, RD would be 20% smoother, Pinkie Pie now also eats British breakfast (oh god, where can she store all that food?), Fluttershy would have 20% more tea, Twilight would actually sound like she's from Canterlot, and Applejack... Uhhh well she.... Maybe.... But what if... You know what, scratch Applejack.

 

There would also be a reference to three certain "semi-dumbasses" that do stuff like this.

Plus the really strong accents are almost impossible for me to understand. Might just be me but everything sounds like it ends and starts with "ought"

AJ would most likely have either a northern Welsh Accent, or a Somerset accent.

The way alot of people are saying Sweetie Apple Acres would be Splendid Tea Acres, Tea is from China, not Britain . If the show was British, Applejack would be Scottish, Pinkie Pie would be Welsh, and I think someone should be thrown in as Irish, maybe Fluttershy or Rainbow Dash.

Mainly, should anyone think there should be another British Pony ? We already have Pipsqueak, Octavia and Doctor Whooves, and a few others, maybe a filly called Rose.

If the show was British, It would not have a narrator, the way Peppa Pig has a narrator and it is British along with the Characters, Ben and Holly's little Kingdom is also British.It is made by the people who made Peppa Pig and it has no narrator.

Sorry guys, but as a British citizen this thread makes me cringe so hard. It'd be like me re-naming the ponies to better suit American stereotypes:

That's pretty much the American stereotype in Europe. Stupid, I know. But then so is *shudder* Teajack. Do we not have Apples here in Britain?

HAM? Are you loco in a coco? Only humans eat ham, so tht should be ponified too. Buckinghay Palace. Yeah, that sounds much better. Also, how about Lundyon for the ponified London? SInce there's a breed called Lundy pony, which originates from Britian.

 

Ham means settlement in Anglo-Saxton, which has hungover in many English towns (Such as my own, Chippenham.) But I'll admit that Lundyon is pretty clever, props to you. wink.png

Doesn't have to be the strong accents though, does it? I find Southern or that really squeaky (Floridan? I have no idea) really hard to understand. Where I live most people have really clear accents, apart from the odd twang. (E.g. sometimes saying warter instead of water)

 

Also, British teeth are really not that bad. By the same token I could say all Americans are morbidly obese and move around using mobility scooters. BECAUSE LOL STEREOTYPES. (If it's just a joke, then I apologize. But I come across this stuff on a daily basis and it's getting kind of old.)

I actually read that the kind of tea we drink is an Indian tea, not Chinese. Whether it's true or not, I can't really say, but just because we found it in a particular country before any other doesn't really change the fact that tea seems to be the cure for everything ever here. happy.png

Okay, all these name suggestions are kind of making me cringe. Do they really have to just scream "I AM BRITISH"?

 

Plus, I don't think every character should have the accent. I would find more variety in the show if we had a few foreign voices possibly for the Mane 6, like if Applejack remained with her southern American. I also like the idea of Rarity being French.
