I loved it so much.  Even though I've kept up with the fandom, this really came out of nowhere for me (and I'm even subscribed to SillyFillyStudios on Youtube).  I watched it, really not knowing what to expect.  I don't want to critique it, but for what it is, it is very well made.

My biggest response to Snowdrop is what/how Hasbro will do/respond?

I thought it was pretty good. I wouldn't call it a favorite of mine, but it is definitely of high quality. It might suffer from the issue of existing for the sake of being a tear-jerker, but a good story is a good story to me.

Plus, Snowdrop is such a cute character. <3

Double Rainboom is a terrible video.  Not only did it shoehorn a crossover with the powerpuff girls for no legitamate reason but it had Rainbow Dash acting like an insensitive idiotic @$$ hole.

As for snowdrop though, I thought it was ok.  It's not the best fan made MLP video I've ever watched (that would be "let's go and meet John Dalance") but it wasn't a terrible mess either.  For the most part, I thought it was cool.

I didn't like SnowDrop.

It was boring and the characters got annoying quickly.

Agreed. The direction they took was mary suish, making it sad to make you like her more isn't the proper way to do it. Abusing sadness throughout the whole thing is not a story, not only is it poor writing, its just distasteful.

I do mine in moderation, i rely on using every side of my characters, show people what exactly makes them special. Take for example, i used to only use one emotion, fear with Rain crasher, because of his gynophobia, and made a mess that cannot redeem itself. What people say to me is;

"Use every bit of your oc's personality to show us what they are like, not just his fears overcoming him". I didn't understand it then, but i do know thanks to this movie.

I wasn't sure about it the first time but after the second time I watched it I loved it. Then again I might have a bias since I'm legally blind and I felt isolated a lot as a little kid and I thought it was because my vision problem so rather than seeing as just a "sad" story I saw it as a relatable story. I had my mom (who also is legally blind and my aunt who is fully blind (neither pony fans) and they both really liked it too.

It was certainly pretty, that's for sure. Probably the best animated video that's longer than five minutes from the fandom to date. I liked Snowdrop's design, and she was pretty adorable. Voice Acting was OK, but when Snowdrop first opened her mouth my brain instantly connected her to Fluttershy and I couldn't shake the feeling that her voice actress was drawing too much of Fluttershy's voice for her Snowdrop voice.

The idea of a blind pony was nice, although really, they were playing it up maybe a bit too much for my liking. Snowdrop being teased by her classmates comes to mind, but there's also this scene that left a really bad taste in my mouth. The one where Snowdrop and her mother are talking about wishing on stars, and Snowdrop asks if she could wish to see. Her mother tells her that it's better to "save her wishes for something really important". Sure, I get the message that they're trying to send here. However, right after this, there's this tiny bit of dialogue:

 That's not really "playing it up" as that's a pretty realistic thing blind kids have to deal with growing up .(of course other kids have the same problem too) things like the tools blind students have to use to be able to do their school work, make them "different".  In 7th grade I had exact same issue , teacher didn't help me get a partner, and it was a building a vehicle type project, there's a lot of stuff I can do well (like for my geography class that year I sewed a map of asia) but building something like that? No clue, Project did not turn out well.

I get why the whole special dialog might bug you but I think the mom was just trying to help her accept her disability/  help her self confidence. If you have a permanent disability you can hope that something will change it but in the meanwhile you can't let it stop you from doing things you can do.

I have... mixed feelings. I liked this animation, and for a short fan-made production I think it's a high-quality piece, but I wish it hadn't been such a classic "sad fic" in its first half. It feels like the story is screaming at us to feel bad for a character we just met, to the point where it employs some weird contrivances to try to make us feel bad (seriously, who lets their blind kid walk home in a snowstorm in a floating city?).

To me, the story was at its best in the second half, where it was focusing on drawing interesting parallels and showing unique perspectives and being heartwarming without feeling forced. I really liked where the story went, I just wasn't so fond of how it got there.

I'd give it like a 6.5 out of 10. Maybe a 7. On the upside, I think it beats Double Rainboom, the fan-work it's most often compared to, by a mile.
