I forgot to add that one. People give it a bad rep for portraying Rainbow Dash as "OOC" when in reality it was just her flaws getting the better of her to the point of narcissism and stupidity.

 

Funniest thing to me is the fact people try so hard to push the blame onto the rest of her friends rather than RD herself. That's just deflecting.

 

I also can't help but think it's more than a coincidence that RD's fanbase is a vocal majority in this fandom...

Probably Dragon Quest and WonderBolt Academy my 2 fave episodes. and are both great episodes to show people curious about the show

My favourite underrated episode is Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000. Most people seem to remember one thing only from this episode, and that was Applejack's tongue-in-cheek letter to Celestia proudly proclaiming she didn't learn anything. I saw that not as stubbornness on her part, but a wonderful affirmation of the love of her friends. Even Pinkie Pie redeems herself at the end by saving Rainbow Dash some cider.

 

My one complaint about this episode is that Flim and Flam's song, while catchy and a neat reference to such classics as The Music Man, was about twice as long as it actually needed to be.

I'd say the majority of Spike episodes, most of which are no where near as bad as most make them sound.

 

Also May The Best Pet Win and Baby Cakes are the most underrated episodes in the show imo, but I'm pretty sure I already said that here
