I actually read it as the word you're thinking of at first.

 

the difference about it and this is that it moves in real time, often very fast. here i at least have time to read through comments and think before i answer. i love to chat, in private. group chats either makes me very engaged or feel left out.

 

maybe if someone knocks some sense into me, i might consider getting in there again.

 

Well, the rest of us don't really think before we say stuff, so you'd be the odd man out

 

I can kinda relate though... I used to just prefer talking via forum (even when it came to private conversations), but then I warmed up to IM environments after awhile. Awhile meaning a few years.

 

You're saying that they can make you feel engaged or left out... What's to say you won't be engaged in ours?

 

And I'm kinda trying to do that, but I'm not very good at it...
