i figured out how to export audio files in FL Studio when using MIDI Out channels! turns out, MIDI Out isn't generating sound, but merely controls for other synthesizers to play through in order to generate sound. by adding Fruity LSD as an effect to the master channel, i got sound out of it. now to figure out a couple of things: how to get other drumkits to work in MIDI, why is it exporting files so slow when making use of General MIDI instruments, and how to get rid off the audio sounding double in FL Studio (that's what the problem was when listening to MIDI in FL Studio: the MIDI files was being played through twice).

The wiki said it sometimes likes to add an extra part to the file address, so double check it and make sure its going to the right place.

i suppose you'd mean using it in the soundtrack of whatever game you had in mind? well, this is not finished by any means, and is meant more to be stage music for a Doom level than anything else, though i wouldn't think it'd be hard to use it in something else whenever it'd be done.
