How can you determine the height of ponies given that nothing that is part of the show resembles humans.  Ponies could be 500 human feet tall for all we know. 

There is no way to tell how tall they are without having something from the human world to have a reference point.

It says in the bottom left corner of the image that the author assumes their foot is the same as ours, and that the candy cane has an absolute height of 8 feet.

The concept seems a little intimidating to get started with. Need to start small and get a better feel for things before jumping into things that are serious business.

To be fair, at least a third of the current rooster never roleplayed in public before

 

it's just a fun project, it's pretty much expected to move forward at a leisure rate of one post per day, so it's a rather relaxed RP. It's kind of stuck right not, though.
