Do you have a car?  If you're able to drive, it'll open up your options immensely.  Otherwise you're kinda stuck putting in applications for every place nearby.

What does it say when you have a bunch of information on a given subject but they seem too disjointed to really make sense of?

I've kinda been been helping certain people with certain problems--usually of the emotional type--and now I'm wondering just what is it I've been really doing all this time... and what the implications are...

 

Since me and IRL friends plan on living in a house built for two families where we live as a single family, we better know what we're getting ourselves into because I've heard of at least two similar endeavors that failed. We need to be smart about this.

I do have a car I am able to drive, but I think soon if my mother get's a job I will not be able to have access to it all the time because my mother would be using it to get to work and back. Everyone would have a job but me if she get's her job.

I need to get my butt moving on getting a job and going to school, because my life is going like nowhere right now.

It sounds like you plan to take charge of things.  That's good, it shows you're responsible and thinking seriously about it.  As long as everyone involved has their heads together you should be fine.

It wasn't much too long ago when I first posted in here, I mean I dunno if you were in here or not but the thread was a bit more chaotic.

 

Internet Explorer is so meh, I mean if I try to use it on this computer it is like infected with so much stuff. xD I remember when my main browsers had problems, I just uninstalled a lot of things and the browsers work good again, and the problem affected all the browsers I had.

 

I remember the days when I used Netscape, anyone remember that ancient web browser? xD It's not even used anymore and I do remember when I used to use it on the iMac that we still have. xD

Assuming you live in America, do you have a Home Depot near you?  I work there and I know that you can get some financial aid for schooling.  That might be a good option.

I DID work at home depot before, I worked there for like not even a month before I got fired. I know I can re-apply at one and I might do that, I have one close to me.

 

When I got that last job at Home Depot I really wanted to keep it and do something with it, but then things happened and I ended up getting fired.. Ugh. That was the last job I had, and I lost it a bit before I moved into town.

Things happened?  I don't hear of many people getting fired unless they do something crazy like get physical with a customer... that or if they break some serious merchandise.

 

Still, there are other options.  But if you were up to try again at a different store, you could go for it.

But I do not recall ever even running over her foot, I felt no bump or anything. So I think it was all about a customer wanting some kind of free way to get out of her breaking her foot so she wouldn't have to pay the bills.

That's just plain retarded.  Though I'm not too surprised to hear that actually.  The home depot has some dumb regulations tbh.

 

And in an interview, it's pretty simple really.  Just act normal... mostly.  Just put on a smile, talk casually and give honest responses.  Or mostly honest responses you'd think your boss would want to hear.

With that attitude you definitely won't make it.  Really, a lot of it is in the attitude.  If you look confident, or at least act it, you'll make it in easy.  You'll need to do a very similar interview for most jobs anyway.  I'm sure you can do it just fine.

I know I can, but the many times I fail can kill my motivation. Heh. I'll make it soon, I just need to try hard enough.

Yeah.  Well, it is a general MLP board and there don't seem to be a ton of regulars in this thread.  It'll probably kick up come time for S4.

Not anymore. The regulars that were here actually pretty much moved off, minus me. They still pop in from time to time, but most of the time they're off else where now. :c

Even i've started slacking in this fabulous thread. Nowhere near as many posts as I used to make at all.

I personally got very used to the pace of it.  I sort of miss having loads of people to talk with, but whatever.  I don't mind just checking the board every now and again to see what's on people's minds.

I actually miss jumping pages per hour and crap loads of people popping in as well. For some reason, high speed threads are fun when filled with actually fun people.
