I used to Internet Explorer. Absolute torment, especially if all you've been using is the IE that didn't even have tabs on your home computer but the school computers did have the one with tabs.

Don't feel bad but I literally laughed at this. I.E. is like the wasteland of explorers. Useless and always a battle to work.

 

I used to only use Firefox... And then came the update that made it look like crap.

Meh I don't mind the change. So long as it does not fuck with Adblock and that other thing. I'm good.

 

I actually installed Windows XP on an old computer last year, and the tabless IE was included.

It holds so much nostalgia, but I can't stand it now.

The only thing I miss about XP is the ability to have animated GIFs as wallpaper.

I always use XP. Service pack 2. Why? because it's so much easier to do allot of stuff on it "Under the Bridge style" If you know what I mean. After all most of my softwares are the full versions that I got digitally from a "friends legal back up" ;) If you know what I mean.

 

Speaking of which, how the heck did I do internet stuff before tabs? That must've been boring.

Remember Pop Out Windows. They're the grandfather of tabs. I used to open multiple of IE back in my Dail Up Days. *Damn Am I that old.* The dark days of when porn would literally take a year to load. XD

You need to decrement both the vowel and the 8, so that it's U WUT M7.

 

Because I see "wat" as a Dutch word, and M7 makes less sense.

 

Also, which 11?!! 11 AM (11:00), 11 PM (23:00), or 11 FM?!! Also^2, which timezone? there could be up to five 11 o'clocks in the world unless you're using a 24-hour clock!!!

 

Because timezones are weird as hell, and this is why the modding team I work with doesn't like release dates. And also why I prefer a 24-hour clock.

 

By the way, 1984 by George Orwell. My favouritest book ever, which got me to use 24-hour time and not 12-hour time.

Story time: when I got my first laptop (it was a Toshiba, by the way, but that's not relevant), it had that version of Internet Explorer where if you opened a link into a new tab, it would colour code the tabs for you. That kinda made sense until I move the tabs, then it'd lose the colour coding.

 

Then I downloaded Chrome and it's like "Oh my god, I can see more of the browser now!!!"

 

I never tried Firefox long-term and I've never used IE except as a last resort, so unless it's IE, I don't know how any of the other browsers go about.

 

Also^3, someone ponified the five major Internet browsers. Well, a lot of people did, but the browsers were IE, Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Safari. Well, IE was portrayed as slow to react. I'm not sure how relevant it is to people saying how reportedly terrible IE is, but it probably is relevant.

 

Also^4, I was late to the Internet game. I was first connected when I was still straddling XP and Vista.

I was a bit skeptical about the start screen at first, cos all the stock images of it looked like a jumbly mess, but after spending some time customizing it, it's become my favorite thing. I spend far less time on that screen than I would have on the massive fiddly programs list.

 

The only thing that I ever hated about Win7/8 was the huge taskbar with huge grouped icons thing... So I disabled that, and I use the old fashioned no group tiny icons way.

I know more people who (sadly) hate the absolute hell out of Windows 8 (the running total is two so far), but I'm honestly really indifferent on the matter; there's not enough good or bad about Win8.x to persuade me either way, but I still use Windows 7, 8, and 8.1...

 

Plus, I'm the only one in my family who still uses Windows 7. ._.

 

Plus, I just built my computer nearly 2wo years ago and it's too early to do a rebuild.

So, I got out of the doctors place earlier to get a lump on my chest looked at.
Doc said the lump is a lipoma; a benign fatty tumor. They booked me in for ultrasound scan in a few weeks just so they can be sure.

Doc said the lump is a lipoma; a benign fatty tumor. They booked me in for ultrasound scan in a few weeks just so they can be sure.

Hopefully its nothing serious at all as they're thinking.

It should be fine. Lipomas aren't dangerous, but it has been a bit uncomfortable.
