The only dancing game ive played that was actually using my body was Just Dance 2 on Wii. It's hella fun and I'd definitely recommend playing one of them on any available console if you like to get up and move. x)

DDR, however, is a totally different thing and this is my first time using a real dance pad for it. It's a whole new game now. Fun, but holy shit it's tiring.

 

Woona here is a damn master at the fucker. Idk how the hell he does it, but by Guthix does he do it. I've seen him go ham irl and lemme tell you, he may seem awkward and clumsy normally, but he's a straight beast on that damn thing.

I'm also rocking it without a support bar and it's like, twice as hard trying to balance myself. So, there's that also making it that much harder for me.

Well see, I like to dance and whatnot, so me being tired is just a part of the fun for me since its coming from doing two things I like combined: gaming and dancing.

 

I'm pretty clumsy myself, honestly, but it's all in fun so it doesnt matter. Trying it at least once is the way to go should you ever get the chance just to see if you can get into it or not. ^^

Phobias. Don't ask why, I just thought it'd be neat.

 

I have a few:

 

Arachnaphobia - spiders

Acrophobia - heights

Sedatephobia - silence

 

What about you guys?

 

And yes, I know, fear of silence is odd, but its only a mild case of the phobia, I just get... antsy? Annoyed? A little nervouse? When I can't hear anything...

I've a fear of heights, slight fear of closed spaces (I get a bit itchy when i'm closed in to closely or when someone hugs me to tightly), fear of spiders and bugs in general, fear of death (though, I think that's normal), and a fear of small holes or whatever its called where tiny holes near each other will literally just make my skin crawl like no other. Super close ups of eyes will also do the same thing sometimes.

You know that weird buzzy sound you get in your ears when it't totally silent? Anywaysies...

 

Look up trypophobia. The fear of holes in all the wrong places.

 

Me? Nihilophobia. The fear of pointlessness. There's literally no word for this, so I cut "nihilism" in half and stuck the first part in front of "phobia". That's my main one. Germanic words invoke a different connotation and feel, but I don't know the all-Germanic equivalent, except angst would be phobia.

 

Hydrophobia. Fear of water, but it's more seen in the contexts of chemistry and biology. Guess what hydrophilia is.

 

Let's play with Greek and Latin roots.

 

Nederphilia. A liking for anything related to the Dutch culture and language. I invented this word when I was trying to learn Dutch.

 

Numberphile. A liking for numbers, and also a Youtube channel.

 

Anglophobia. This registers as a word according to Google spellcheck. I guess Anglophilia... Nope.

 

These two I'm about to say are paradoxical: phobophilia and philophobia. A liking of fear and a fear of liking.

 

Schizophobia. Does this translate to anything?

 

Orthophobia? Orthophobophilia? I can just string smaller pieces of words into bigger words forever, because there's no authority on the English language. Speaking of which...

 

Anglolinguophilia, a liking of the English language. I was gonna find out what "lack of authority" means, but found no such word. You know how French, Spanish, and Italian have authorities for their respective languages? English has no such authority.

 

Romanophilia and Hellenicophilia. The best words I can come up with for a liking of Roman and Greek whatevers. Anglolatinohellenicofrancolinguophilia best describes a liking of the English language, including the parts that aren't English, like Latin, Greek, and French.

 

Ganasinohispanofilipinophilia. Guess.

Claustroacrotrypothanatophobia. Claustrophobia for small spaces, trypophobia for those tiny holes I was talking about earlier, thanatophobia for death, and acrophobia for heights. Maybe add macrooculouphobia for close-up zooms of eyeballs.

 

And also insectophobia. Are arachnids a subset of insects, or are the two a subset of something bigger? I forget.
