Ha! Exceptions? The only reason why I've ever gotten in trouble here is because exceptions weren't made!

You see that tag at the top of the page? The one that says "Don't be so random here"? That's all that I am!

There have even been several times where the LPW Thread has been locked because it was "Too random".

As far as I know, there are being made exceptions for threads such as "Count to a Million". 

 

"Both CTAM and LPW are naturally conversational. The new rules are about giving more flexibility to members, and about not over-moderating 

They are not because topics are hard to moderate.

 

In the end we want members to have a little more comfort in posting but also not wind up with a dozen "Who is your Best Pony?" Topics" -Jeric

 

But that tag that you pointed me to, that could actually be a problem though

That was some time ago, and no I was not trying to spread communism. There was a discussion about Order and Harmony or something and I posted some of these videos... (also I had been watching the Russian Military March of 2014, Victory Day with the Red Alert 3, Soviet March song playing).

Yeah, I know what Jeric said, but the problem that has come up more than once is that rules are still being applied to things where they shouldn't even be considered. I'm not saying that the Mega-Thread thing is bad, or that the Mega-Thread topics won't benefit from the changes, but I know from experience that mods will apply all rules to a topic if one is applied, no matter the thread. Perhaps the mods with more experience won't do this (But that's a big, fat maybe), but less experienced mods will do this.
