my back has been killing me almost all day..... I'm going to bed.... hopefully the problem resolve in the morning..... see you guys then....

as a kid I wanted to be a soccer player.... but it was never meant to be.... I had to stop because my asthma.... I nearly passed out while playing once....

 

and now I'm about to give up being a violinist.... I've had this violin for nearly a year and I haven't even been able to play it once.... I can't seem to get the tuning right no matter how hard I try...

 

I have the same thoughts about fiction writing; spent years of wasted time trying to conform to unattainable standards, only to find that the writing I had was no longer likeable to me, and even when I tried to ask for help, I never got any. I sometimes feel jealous about those who can put up with that; I just don't know how people like you can manage writing. I've never written anything new for, like, the past two years now; I've given up on writing, and I'm tired of looking for unattainable help.

 

One of the last talents I have, and it's very rare for me to do this; I used to have this capacity to help people, but a few months in, I said the wrong thing to someone and it got disinterpreted as "I don't care about your problems; there's bigger things to worry about in the world" and things have long since declined to this metastable state for me; it's never gotten better, but it's not getting worse. Wanna know what that last talent is?

 

Saying the right thing at the right time, and the situation and message's tones are in perfect harmony and I'm not the one saying it because someone else has said for me.

Because the only reason they didn't give her a voice is because of random backlash. Hell, even if it weren't spot on, I would have liked to hear something come out of her mouth!

They gave Derpy a new voice. I highly doubt they were worrying over backlash from anyone.

I uh....I also kinda doodle from time to time. :x

 

if you think "art" is making pictures that "look amazing" you're dead wrong. What I want to know is... why is it so many people here like doing it... I think out of everyone I've met here, only a handful don't practice.

Also, this. Art isn't just things that look good or what have you. Anything can be called art whether its amazing or naw. I mean, like, I'm pretty sure ive seen literal splatter paint be considered proper art.

 

I just like having hobbies. It's like me and my music making. It's just something fun.

The only difference with this is that I only want to get good just to be good. I want to go places with music. I also don't practice enough for either of that to happen, so.
