Well, you basically are the Overseer of your own vault, and you have to maintain the Dwellers' health and safety.

Yep. It can ruin an otherwise perfectly fun game.

 

Fallout Shelter isn't P2W though. You make progress, but you can lose it just as quickly as you make it.

Upside to that though is that you aren't forced to play it all day. You can play it however long you want and put it down whenever you want without restrictions or penalties.
