I've been meaning to give blood since I was 17, but I keep forgetting they exist. I just found out it's today where I'm at but I'm unprepared. (Plus, I don't know my own blood type.)

I haven't given any actual blood before (except for blood tests), though I'd imagine it's an interesting experience. My dad has to give quite a bit of blood sometimes for medical reasons.

Prior to this year, good luck getting my sisters to even give a blood sample. (It's a battle just to even get it to happen and we always lost the battle; extremely complicated story as to why and I'm never comfortable explaining it and anyone with ears never gets it anyway so I don't bother explaining.)

A question to any well-established creators, from an up and coming one (I like to post reviews) -- Ko-fi or Patreon? I was thinking about patreon for later if I really gain an audience but I just found out about ko-fi and it seems like something nice and small to start out with, just to earn a little...? Thoughts? Does anyone else have one or both?
