Probably not as much as I did… Going through 50 pages of random chat takes a remarkably long time.

 

 

The perfect thing to do when you wake up and are not quite sure whether you are asleep or dreaming… Or, I guess maybe awake?

 

Nothing of value. We made some bets about how many new mods there will be. Otherwise, I think you two should do the things you do and hope something happens.

The fun part is that I have absolutely no idea how many mods we will be adding in the first round. Sure, I know the maximum number… However, not everyone will accept. Just to make sure that we are all on even ground… I'll tell you all the maximum number. 5.

I want to roleplay, but I feel useless without the built in spell checker that came with Google Chrome.

 

Use Firefox. Its spellcheck works just fine for me.

 

But, the thing is, I want to try out the new Advanced Roleplay section. I'll end up writing quite a lot. I might miss some errors, and as an avid reader, errors bug me very much.

Yes. I once wept when I read this one fan fiction. I mean really… Real manly tears.

 

The grammar and spelling were so bad that it literally caused me to break down into tears. After that experience, I only rarely read fan fiction. With really meaning that I have only completely read about 3 or 4 works. I started reading plenty of others and either became bored due to repetition or encountered horrifying grammar. I am very, very picky about what I read…

Better spend my time reading a real novel

 

I agree with you… I would much rather read latest book in the Discworld series than read 1.2 million words in the fan fiction. I hate to say it, but most fan fictions like that could easily be edited down to a 1/10th of that size.

 

I'm going to just say this. Fan fiction that gets to that type of length needs an editor. Badly. The only reason that everyone claps wildly for a lot of this lengthy fan fiction is because they have very little experience with truly great literature…

 

While I have not completed many works of fan fiction, I have started reading quite a few works. All of the longer ones that I have seen read like the Iliad. I could almost see Homer chanting by the fire… (No, not Homer Simpson. Come on peeps! You can do better.)

I've just generally not been feeling that great. Tired all the time, achy, etc. I'm convinced it's a vitamin deficiency, because I took a chewable Centrum tablet one day and I felt so much better the day after

 

That sounds like vitamin D deficiency to me. When I spent a lot of time programming in front of my computer, I had the same problem. After looking into it on some programming boards, I discovered that this was a fairly common problem and the solution was always the same. Take some vitamin D supplements. You will be happy.
