right in the nuts at point blank range...needless to say, I spent the next 10 minutes writhing in pain :lol: .

 

I just cringed...

The worst football related incident that's happened to me is that whilst I was on the climbing frame in the playground, I got hit in the face causing me to do a backflip off of it :P

I stumbled around for a few seconds, but I was alright.

Ouch...that sounds like a strange incident though. You don't see many backflips in football related incidents :P . On hindsight, that was cat's reflex right there dude :D .

Hehe, playing goalie is always painful... But someone's gotta do it.

 

I feel like a hero everytime I catch the ball with whichever my stomach/teeth/forehead/fragiles.

 

Eeyup! I mostly played as a goalie on handball and football and it IS gratifying when you stop the ball. The other position I play is central defender on football. The problem is, I can make your life impossible...but I ALWAYS think I'm going to break the others leg when sweeping...and sadly, I do sometimes not control my strength...makes me feel real guilty :( .

 

@Arcanal did you see the vid I posted earlier?

 

Yep! And Airi, at this rate, you're going to make a vid by yourself of your honeymoon with Discord sooner or later ^_^ .

Eeyup! I mostly played as a goalie on handball and football and it IS gratifying when you stop the ball. The other position I play is central defender on football. I think I was around 7 or 8 when that happened, so it might be far more likely that a child of that age would do a flip upon getting hit in the face by a speeding ball.

Adults/teens are less rubbery, so they just complain instead :P

I'm a teen and I would feel insulted...if I didn't think that was totally correct :lol: .

Hmmm...I don't know about funny...well...it depends on the definition of funny. I for example always laugh whenever I tell my friends about this one time when we were playing football (AKA soccer). I was the goalkeeper (as always...), then I hear one my friends shout "HIGH PASS!", and he does right that, so, the ball was coming right at me. I of course like any other goalie would stand right below it and catch. What I didn't consider was that another of my friends went to look for it, and right before I catched the ball, he managed to volley it in the air and shoot right next to me...and right in the nuts at point blank range...needless to say, I spent the next 10 minutes writhing in pain :lol: .

 

I should probably stop laughing.
