Well, I live in a box and only occasionally venture out for chicken feed, so… I'm usually way out of the loop on all of this type of stuff. Actually, I didn't even know about dubstep until joining this particular fandom. Go figure, right?

lol does not surprise me at all. This fandom seems really infatuated with the stuff.

Thanks Star Weaver, I knew you wouldn't fail to deliver! :P

So… While I'm getting educated… Is dubstep generally considered good or bad music?

Frankly, I kind of like this:

Everything depends on so many factors, all songs should be taken case-to-case basis

And that one is fucking awesome

Depends. Its mostly you either love it or you freaking hate it.

Very little in between.

?????

see I grew up in the 90s, as in early 90s, we had things like the SNES and sega genesis, vhs tapes and cartrage games. I remember it was a big deal when video games were being made on CD (on computers it was usually floppy discs and if they were on CD, it usually took several. i have a game that takes 6 cds. 6 to play it)

...oh yeah I'm pretty old, most of you probably have no idea what a sega cd is or even played a cartrage video game system

My first game system was the original NES. I've owned every Nintendo system since then except for the Nintendo 64. (PlayStation was better.)

I never owned the Sega CD though… As I recall, the game library for it sucked pretty badly. The SNES was infinitely superior :3

My clock reads 18:00...

I'm really bored now.

And for the record, old-school gaming systems would always scare me (the sounds of the games would). Maybe that's why I never had a gaming console ever and I prefer a computer over any gaming console.

I was on the sega side, so got things like the genesis, CD, and game gear

the dreamcast i feel is still an underrated masterpiece, and it can do a lot more then people give it credit (for one, its games had no secruity thingies against burning, and you could have compilations of other, older systems' games on it- i have the whole NES library on a cd that this thing can play)

i never got the 32x because it sucked and the saturn was rare even when it came out, i did eventually get an n64 and a ps1 (and the original game boy) but got rid of most of them when i hit middle school, in leiu of computer gaming...it was only in the last few years i built up my collection so

There was no sega when I was ten :<

Or maybe I'm just too sheltered that time

yeah when I was 10, there was the dreamcast

Yeah, actually I completely agree with you here. The Dreamcast was really a fantastic system for the time. It's a darn shame that it turned out to be the swan song of the Sega consoles. :(

i remember being in the 3rd grade and getting a game gear, bringing it to school and everyone was mystified by the thing

it was in colour, i had an ac adapter for it (though that was only because it takes 6 AA batteries)

no one had ever seen one
