I liked it at first because the teacher didn't lecture. She'd let us do our own work, which is in fact better than the method you described of just copying everything down. The only thing she does really is tell us when things are due.

 

I interpreted "not having to listen to a lecture" as "I get to fuck around in class," though. Now I realize that I need some sort of structure. I keep end up having to catch up on things and do stuff at the last minute because we don't have a set schedule in the classroom.

 

I'm convinced I have ADD.

 

As much as I'd hate to say it, I'm in the same boat. I'd love not having to listen to a lecture, which, in reality would be ignoring a lecture and trying to stay awake, but I definitely need some kind of structure. I feel so weird saying that. I don't think I have ADD, but I do always tend to have to catch up on crap, usually due to my own laziness and procrastination, and don't do well without structure of any kind.

You're preaching to the choir, I failed that class the first time I took it. Mostly due to the fact that it was my first hands on experience with coding. But also in part to the ineptitude of the teacher to teach online.

 

This is the first time I'm doing something like this myself.

 

And I'm doing fine grade-wise, but the class drags me down sometimes. Meh.

The real problem is, I couldn't really see how will your character get out of that alive. It's either the squirrel do its job, or I will have to spray the vicinity with liquid iron.

It can yes, but it applies more to Programming than anything else. All it takes is one mistake to make you scan your entire code to figure out what you did wrong. That can take a long time to figure out where the mistake is actually located at.

 

Where as in other classes one mistake is just a mark off of the grade.

My RP is becoming more unstable and I may be at fault with it, and I'm convinced that my story is unworkable.
