nevermind i figured it out

 

I just use the rectangle selector to select my area, then copy that, then open up a new project and paste it in there.

Could be an easier way, but idk.

Could select the area you want to keep, then invert the select (I think its CTRL-i), and delete. Not completely sure though... Im horribly new to it.

 

there is a Crop to Selection option in the Image bar. why the hell there is no Crop tool i have no idea though.

It didn't work anyway. I just ended up hatching one of the same breed and named it after me. Again...

 

but where?

You can upload images to the site itself. "Upload Files + More Reply Options"

Reincarnation is a much safer route, no risk of turning your subject into a crazed monster or anything like that.
