it's okay. i've raged enough at the shit-poor documentation of the Seagate Expansion drive wow. it, like, gives you instructions on how to plug in the drive, but not on how to ASSEMBLE THE FUCKING POWER OUTLET. AND THERE'S LIKE 4 OF THEM IN THE MANUAL. WHAT THE FUCK? and i have no idea why they sent with me this useless piece of garbage with it, either.

 

so far, i'm not amazed lol. lets see how well this shit works then.

Try googling about it a little. If they give no instructions, then someone else was bound to have the same problem and talk about it online to find some answers.

Fixing someone's laptop and OH WOW is it messed up. Not even Safe Mode could boot up, so I must re-install Windows.

oh, it's a normal USB desktop drive alright. just that the adapter is a weird piece of shit that doesn't come pre-assembled, so you have to stick the thing in yourself. well no wonder it was so cheap! they didn't even tell in the manual how to do that, i had to look at the things myself, rage a bit over the manual's inefficiency, then finally figured it out.

 

so far it seems to work fine. i'm gonna run some tests on it and see if it works absolutely fine, then i'm gonna tell my mom that she can buy it (because this whole drive i bought was a mistake since i need an internal one...)
