I never have the opportunity to even try out quality steak... Am I really missing out?

 

Well, steak is not as dependent on the quality of the meat as is the quality of the preparation. And you need to eat it Medium Rare or below, preferable below.

True, but that is pretty bare bone. You WANT the lowest quality steak for country fried steak.

It's really good, but it's also really really salty, so you have to eat other things to dilute the salt you'd be taking in...

Sea Salt >> Regular salt IMO

I'm usually like that too, though it depends heavily on the food I am eating at the time. Like crab tastes SO much better with sea salt IMO, but w.e.
