I'll oftentimes have WAAAY more tabs open than that. Plus, my computer has a 4.2GHz processor (thank you, AMD) and 8GB RAM, so surely I could have 50 tabs open at once and my machine will never complain.

Well, you can organize things easily on Linux's interface. It has four workspaces, but one is more than enough for me. Also, you don't have to bother changing from one tab or window to another. Everything is arranged beautifully. :3

 

The security, performance, etc is better than Windows. No antivirus needed.

 

And the most important: IT'S FREE~

Performance is typically not better on quad and octo core processors, in my experience. Ran great on my old dual core. Ran like shit on my quad core, haven't tried it on my octocore.

 

Windows is the only choice for gamers, however.
