 I hate to disagree with you, but that's not entirely correct. Happiness is a choice, you can choose to be happy, or you can choose to be sad. Our goal is to make choosing happiness easier, and choosing sadness harder.

I don't know about that. I believe you can choose to be joyful or not. Happiness seems more superficial and it's often sourced from material objects (e.g., Some people buy excessive clothes because it makes them happy; relationships can make one happy for a while but when that spark fades away, the partners need to find an inner sense of joy to keep moving forward). That's just my take on it.

 

It's funny because I don't even have to worry about going off topic since this is a "general chat thread." huehuehue
