Well, life falls under the category of imperfect, so our goals are similar enough for now. They see me as a useful tool to later be disposed of once it's no longer useful, and I see them as handy distraction for my enemies. Our alliance is by no means permanent or stable, but it is an alliance nonetheless.

I've been surprisingly busy.

 

I went camping about 4 weeks ago then took a class a week after that.

 

So July has been mostly camping and learning, with the occasional sit down to relax.

They're Deviants.

Deviants are the Programs that break from their old code. For most, it means death. Overseer Programs constantly search for and eliminate "faulty" Programs. For others, it's the first step to creating a new life for themselves, a life of their own. However, this does not mean that all Deviants are kind or nice or anything like that. It just means that Deviants are able to think on their own.

I took a class on leadership, it's for something I'm a part of, it's not important.

It isn't a thing that you can force. In fact, attempting to do that will only make it harder for the Program to become a Deviant.

Programs have something like a security system deep in their code that causes them to lock up if tampered with.

Do you know exactly how advanced a Program is? They've been created by the Arequarians to be the perfect beings. Do you really think that you can just influence a Program to turn from their core code?

Becoming a Deviant is something a Program must do on its own.
