Yesterday I went to St. Louis Missouri and Illinois, it was a long trip but worth it. Went to Micro Center and stuff.

 

My family is in Colorado right now I wish I could of went but I got a job so I wasn't able to go. So yesterday on my day off I went to St. Louis instead.

 

Who is here? Ganny?

Yeah, I totally get what you mean. It is a nice way to just sort of...unwind. Especially if life has been getting stressful. Just sit back, have a nice drink, maybe veg out with the telly or something.

Well maybe someday you need to drive down there when I drive up there.

 

I am a 4 hour and 15 minutes drive southwest from St. Louis, down in Arkansas. Took the trip up there and back. Didn't have much time to stay there because 4 hours there and back takes up most of the time and I wanted to get back home at a reasonable time. I took some pictures too.

I've heard of Forgottonia. And I'm reminded some time ago of how huge California really is. You can't even traverse half of it in half a day.

Considering it IS in a desert, comparing to to Tatooine is not far off. I have a few stories, none too interesting really. It is just not a nice place. The Strip is colorful and inviting, and that is decent...as far as legalized robbery goes. The rest of Vegas is pretty sketchy.

Well, driving north-south in California would take forever and a half, even with good traffic; with Texas, you'd have that same amount of forever going east-west also. Also if you rearranged the states such that a state's population corresponded with its land area, Texas would be unchanged and Alaska (the state's land area) would be California (the population).

That pic's a half-accurate depiction of my area as well, except no high voltage wires or even abandoned railroads. Just sand, gravel, cactuses, and the occasional snake, rabbit, bird, and lizard. And lots and lots and lots of pointy plants.

Unfortunately, I tend to vanish from time to time.  -_-  It's hard for me to stay in one place for any amount of time.

I see. I've heard that Vegas wasn't a nice place to live, and that the crime rate is pretty high, but that's all I know of the place. I know nothing of the strip besides the fact that that's where all the casinos are.

I was gonna talk to you about my Runescapification of my Minipony self, but then I got Tumblr'd and got reminded of an episode from ages ago about ordering a TV only for the box, then realising that episode was so old that CRT TVs were still a thing.
