I was bored and I just got back from school and decided to check in.

But realized I wanted to take a nap more and did that.

You know how I'm pursuing computer science? I'm almost tempted to specialise and go for something more specific, like cybernetics or converting sight to sound and insisting on hearing what you see, but I'll see what happens as I continue.

You were tired? Because I was tired.

140-mile commute, both ways, for three days a week, total of 14 hours out of the house for each of those days. Do I win?

Well, I'm actually still tired.

I think cybernetics is cool, but I guess that's already obvious

I think cybernetic enhancement in the sense of expanding your perceptibility of the world (or even substituting a defunct sense for something else) is really cool. After all, brains are plastic enough such that, for example, if you wear glasses that make everything you see upside-down for a couple days, your brain will eventually make sense of that scrambled input. Sight to sound and sound to sight? That'd be pretty messed up, but imagine having it work and you can see with your ears and listening to music with your eyes, and then taking off that equipment and, whoa, are those senses separate senses or are they two halves of the same thing?

That's confusing to think about.
