Fluttershy

 

"Corkscrew!" Fluttershy said excitedly as she saw her friend leave the ruins.  "Corkscrew, you're... you're orange again!  I'm so happy for you!"  She noticed that he still had the horn and was quite a bit taller than he used to be, but none of that mattered.  He was no longer the big, scary, evil-looking alicorn; he was just a big alicorn, and maybe only a little bit scary.  Her excitement faded though when she noticed that Corkscrew didn't seem quite as happy.

 

 

 

Fluttershy wasn't sure what to say.  How could she make Corkscrew feel better?  Oh... If only Twilight were here, she thought, she always knows what to say.  "Y-yeah, I'm sure Rarity could make you a cloak..." she managed.  "But I don't see why you're so sad.  You didn't do anything wrong.  None of what happened was your fault."

Corkscrew

 

"I...I did. I let my anger, my need for revenge on the changelings get the best of me, and I failed...The changelings...the took my love, my compassion, all my happy feelings, and all they left is this deep, dark void in my sole...I can feel anger, but not love. Sadness, not happiness. The only thing I wish that they would have taken is my guilt. I...I don't know how I can face my peers in Ponyville, or Celestia after the mess I caused in Canterlot."

 

Corkscrew looked into a puddle in the Everfree.

 

"Look at me. I'm broken. Scared. I didn't even want this thing. All I wanted to do is help you and Nexis and this happens. Though I'm not a nightmare anymore, I'm still a monster!" as he splashes the puddle with his reflection. "This stupid horn doesn't even work most of the time. Who ever heard of a stallion alicorn anyways..."

 

Corkscrew looked up into the sky.

"Even if I'm forgiven, I can here it now...Here comes the dud alicorn. I just wish there was a way to get my emotions back. To go back to being the fastest....er second fastest flyer in Ponyville and just resign from the guard all together."

 

He looked back to Fluttershy.

 

"Do you think Twilight will be able to help me at least get this stupid horn to work, and maybe wright a letter to Celestia so she doesn't take it out on me as bad?"

"Honestly, I wouldn't choose them. Other than their roles, they haven't done much for us and by "us" I mean earth ponies. They have given us land a long time ago, but other than that. They haven't done much for us. While it's true that we do have natural affinity for the land here and grow the food. We don't really make that much from it, if you could believe that and I know from personal experiences. Most of the farmers in Equestria work for big corporations and barely make enough to get by. There's no point in even going to Royalty about this because there are, "Issues of greater importance". Not only that but I rather find it odd that there aren't any earth ponies in the Royal Guard. The only one's that serve are unicorns and pegasi, which in my opinion seems wrong. The way I see it, earth ponies have started to become a minority now these days," ((OOC: *wink wink*)) He said just staring at the ground. The stallion had gone through plenty of hardships in his time, especially with rich families and former employers of his. It made him angry but he knew he couldn't hold onto that anger forever.

 

The earth pony sighed, "Anyways, how bout we head back home and I can show you where you'll be sleeping. Alright?"

Frayed thought about all the pony had said. A lot of it did make sense, and there was denying the life of the average Earth pony wasn't doing so hot comparatively, he wasn't quite sure about all the fact, nor the severity he addressed them with. But he nodded.

 

"Yes, that sounds like it's a good idea. I'm rather restless these days, and I'd be eager to get started with the work."

"Alright, just follow me," He said leading the crystal pony back to the cottage. The walk back was pretty quiet though the stallion didn't seem to notice as he was focused on just getting home.

 

The cottage was located on the outskirts of Ponyville but not disconnected from the small town.

 

"Ah, home sweet home!" He said inviting his guest into the house. It was funny this was the 3rd pony that would be staying in this house. It didn't seem long ago that Max had let him stay here to make a living. The earth pony began to frown though. Dogboots did indeed miss Max and every time he'd see one of the pictures hanging on the wall, he couldn't help but miss his roommate. Even though the pictures in the house were of Max and his wife. The stallion refused to take any of them down, it would've been disrespectful and he had promised he'd take care of the place while he was away. Which to him seemed like an awfully long time.

The pegasus gasped when Corkscrew revealed what truly was wrong.  His emotions were... killed? she thought.  Is that even possible?  Evidently, it was possible assuming that Corkscrew was telling the truth, and Fluttershy could never imagine Corkscrew lying to her.

 

It's okay though, she reassured herself, emotions can't just die, and even if they can, then they grow back.  I'm sure of it!  Just then, a dark thought crossed her mind.  What if they couldn't bring his emotions back?  What if Corkscrew was stuck in this state of sadness and depression... forever.  And it was all her fault; because Corkscrew had to save her.  She wanted to tell him how sorry she was, but couldn't bring herself to do so.  Tears immediately filled her eyes and a single sob escaped her.  She hoped that her friend hadn't heard.

 

He looked back to Fluttershy.

 

"Do you think Twilight will be able to help me at least get this stupid horn to work, and maybe wright a letter to Celestia so she doesn't take it out on me as bad?"

Total Neon stood warily at the edge of the train carriage door. She gazed blankly at the station before her, motionless, half way on the platform. Her shocking pink eyes glinted in the sun and reflected happy country ponies smiling and chatting to one another just on the other side...

She raised her right hoof and, after a mental shove, stepped onto the wooden boards. She sighed

"I'm here..." She looked up into the sky, birds and what were perhaps pegasi flew below a single cloud, "I'm finally here..."

Neon made her way across the station rather sheepishly, trying not to look at the locals. Staring at the ground, she decided, was the best way to not attract attention.

Thud.

"ouch!"

Neon rubbed her head, and wondered how in Equestria she managed to end up on the floor gawking up at one of the beams supporting the station.

Maybe looking at the ground wasn't such a good way to get to her new home without delay.

Eyes darting from left to right awkwardly, Neon stood up and continued to walk to her new house in Ponyville.

"Hm...." Frayed Logic looked around. "A very cozy home, I must say. Are you the owner? These pictures don't seem to be of you... Who is this pony?" He tried not to pry, but this pony had already proven himself very strange and Frayed was feeling very apprehensive in general. His mind was working a million miles a minute, and he just wanted to figure out what was going on.

When Corkscrew and Fluttershy was walking to ponyville. A filly saw Corkscrew and Fluttershy walking. The White Penises filly he decided to go to them he ran to them. When he got closer he yelled out loud to them saying " BIG BROTHER"  as loud as he could. And he was close he jump on Corkscrew and give him a big hug. After for a 2 second the Filly jump off of Corkscrew and said " Wow Big Brother how did you become a Alicorn, can you teach me how to become a Alicorn to Big Brother and you look cool to."

 

And he look at Fluttershy and look at Corkscrew " oh sorry Fluttershy you was talking to my brother I will go now brother" the filly walk to Corkscrew as close as he can and said in a low tone that Fluttershy will not hear them. " This is your big chance to tell her how you feel OK brother" after that he ran off and look at Corkscrew and said " I be home brother see you later bye Fluttershy" and off he go.

Music Note

 

Music Note come out of the train in to the station she was looking around then she saw a pony with Neon hair. That mare was walking her head down and bump her head on the train station beams Music laughed low enough that the pony did not hear her.

 

Then the pony was walking off to town Music decided to walk to her and said " Hello there how is your head" music smile. " I well guess you never bin here be fore and this is my first time to" music said. " And I love your hair how did you make it so neon color" music ask her. "Oh yes I almost forgot to introduce myself my name is Music Note what is your name" music ask in a happy tone.

"I...I'm sorry that this happened. It's not your fault, it's mine. Because of you, I'm no longer that evil nightmare alicorn bent on revenge. Maybe your right. Maybe they will come back in time. I can only hope, but I still fill terrible about what I did. His head was still down in shame as they approached Ponyville.

One of them even payed the ultimatum price to keep me from going pure evil. This horn is a reminder of that."

 

 

 

And he look at Fluttershy and look at Corkscrew " oh sorry Fluttershy you was talking to my brother I will go now brother" the filly walk to Corkscrew as close as he can and said in a low tone that Fluttershy will not hear them. " This is your big chance to tell her how you feel OK brother" after that he ran off and look at Corkscrew and said " I be home brother see you later bye Fluttershy" and off he go.  

 

 

"Um...Ok...but how do you know......"

"Um Fluttershy, there was something familiar about that filly. I just can't put my hoof on it....wait, how did he know your name? Wait, I don't have a brother...This is going to get interesting. Let's just see what Twilight has to say about his darn horn."

 

Corkscrew walks up to the library, hoping that no other ponies see him in his current state. He knocks on the door, waiting anxiously for her to open the door, trying to keep out of view of most ponies.

Neon, rubbing her head in an attempt to soothe the pain, looked at the blue Earth Pony and tried to smile. Gritting her teeth in agony she spoke to the new pony

 

"I'm Total Neon, nice to meet you..." she began, offering a hoof to the pony. "My head will be fine, I just need to lie down..." her eyelids drooped a little "it's been a long day of traveling for me."

 

The friendly blue pony had mentioned Neon's hair, she suddenly remembered

 

"My hair's always been like this, I don't know why though..." she stared up at her own fringe almost nervously.

 

"What's it like here in Ponyville anyway? I just moved here if you couldn't tell"

"This is Max's home, I'm just taking care of it until he returns from his research which i'm assuming will be years before that even happens. The pictures you see now are of Max and his deceased wife. It's an incredibly lengthy story but to save time, he was made an offer by the scientific community in Canterlot to pursue research on how to cure blindness. He's an exceptionally skilled alchemist and because of that he was able to cure Color Blindness. He's now pursuing a cure for blindness which no doubt will take a few years but still. I'm just here taking care of the place until he returns. Personally, he's the closest friend I've ever had..."  He said smiling at the Max's wedding picture. The green pegasi looked so happy that it almost made the stallion tear up. It was quite evident that the earth pony missed his friend.

Frayed was quiet. He felt somehow as though he was intruding. Not that this was new to him: in every city he had gone to it was a struggle to get to know people and figure out the customs, inner works, and the way that everything was. And, as a result he was quite used to being in awkward situations. So he simply sat quietly and patiently, giving Dogboots his moment. No need to be a dick: he was doing this to learn and he was learning all the time. This pony actually seemed fairly smart, if a bit crazed a times. There was definitely a lot of room to learn and a lot of room to grow. So he could wait for a few moments and give the man his time.

The stallion put the picture back down on the table and snapped back into reality. He had a guest to take of or rather a temporary roommate until Parcel had returned.

 

"Sorry about that. Anyways, your room is upstairs, first door on the right. Bathroom is right across from your room and there's another one two doors down on the left in this hallway as well. Do you have any questions so far?" He asked the crystal pony who seemed to be paying close attention.

Cypriss was fuming her anger sputtering at the surface ready to blow. She couldn't believe that her road snack had the gull to tell her off and now the bats words were only making her more mad. He was making her think and she didn't like it she liked being reckless and impulsive and most of all she liked being naive. She trudged along keeping her head low and clenching her jaw not liking any of what she was hearing finally she snapped, "shut up! I don't wanna hear it, can we just find a place to stay for the night and give it a rest."

'you mean like that?' Luminari pointed with a hoof toward a small cottage soft smoke billowing from the chimmeny, it looked plesent enough so the unicorn trotted up to it and gave the door a quick knock. When there was no answer she stepped inside, inside it was small and quaint with two small couches and a fire place. the fire crackling inside was all the invitation that Luminari needed and she walking sitting in the couch and looking around further. besides the two couches almost every nook and cranny, every shelf and every available space had a small dainty painted glass pony. there could've been hundreds and all had so much detail they were almost life like. She finally realized that she was alone in the cottage and she looked out the open door at the two outside and beckoned for them to come in, seeing the changeling give Nexus a funny look.

Cypriss turned to Nexus, "i don't do good with houses." and it was true, it was the only trait that made her bad at impersonating ponies was that she didn't like how their buildings were always so closed off and containing but she knew the halfling was going to make her go inside none the less. "we should change, i dont think whoever lives here will appreciate one and a half changelings in their house.

"I suppose we should. I only have a few disguises, as I can only shift into ponies I have fed upon. If the love is strong enough, I can shift into the pony their love is centered on." Nexus focused, and slowly began changing form. Not in a green flash like regular changelings, just morphing before the eyes of the changeling. He shrank in size, his armor vanishing. His fur shifted to a light brown, his mane style changing, the color shifting to an orange color. Even his eyes were morphed to a normal pony's. He had finished his transformation into the mare known as Rockshire, which felt awkward.

 

"One side effect I tend to suffer" He-or rather, she-started in the mare's voice.

 

"Is that the longer I stay in a form, the bigger the risk of me losing who I am. This pony I am shifted into will eventually consume me until Nexus is gone, and only Rockshire remains. So I can't stay like this long."

As the filly ran off.

Fluttershy was just as confused as Corkscrew.  "Um... I don't think that I've ever seen him before."  She shivered, wondering just how on earth the little colt knew so much.  The memory of the strange colt vanished though as they approached the library.  She'll know how to help Corkscrew, she thought, she has to!

Cypriss changed in a green flash, she changed into a stort slender colt that Nexus wouldn't reckognize green hair pail coat and blue eyes. the young colt looked up at the mare gave a wry smile and walked passed Nexus into the cottage looking around shifty eyed not liking being inside one bit. He sat delicately on the other couch still looking around When suddenly a old grey mare popped up from around the corner. "Hello there, how is everypony tonight!" the mare spoke in an overly cheery tone her mane was as wild as her eyes, in her magic she carried a tray and on it were three cups of pipping hot tea. "My name is China Doll, it is lovely to meet you all this evening."

Cypriss snickered at the word "everypony" but the unicorn didn't seem to noice and when she floated a cup of tea to each of the travelers Cypriss took the cup in the young colts hooves but only took a sip. Changelings had digestive systems but rarely used them unless completely necissary.

As soon as she took a sip her eyes brightened, it tasted of honey, mint and a little bit of lemon just the perfect taste. She enjoyed the drink so much that she gulped down the rest of the cup. China Doll only smiled watching them for a few moment until finally she snapped back to reality, "oh, sugar of coarse!" and she dashed out of the room.

When China left Luminari's eyes began to droop and she became extremely exhausted hardly able to keep herself upright.

Even Cypriss began to feel the effects of the tea and her vision blurred and she shook her head looking up at Nexus whispering, "thy drugs work fast. we need to get out."

Rockes (c wat i did thar?) looked up at the green colt, then down at the tea he took a small sip of. She was about to drink it too.

 

"This tea is drugged?" He asked flatly. He saw Luminari nearly passed out and Cypriss get drowsy her/himself.

 

"Alright, you grab Luminari-since you are the colt in the room-and lets get the hell out of here." Rockes was starting to feel a little sleepy himself. Good thing he didn't drink the entire thing.

After he ran off he was run around town on till he saw the library. He decided to go to the library, he walk to the door and knocked.

 

Twilight

 

Twilight was reading a book on till she heard a knock on the door. She got up of the table and walk to the door she open the door. She saw a white pegisai colt " oh hello there you need some help to fine you parents" Twilight ask the colt.

 

" No I was look at your library and I was wondering if you have a book" The colt said.  Twilight look at the colt and ask " What kind of book you are looking fore." The colt think for a bite and said " um the book of um a pony puppet who can't lie if he does his nose will grow" try to explain to Twilight.  Twilight said " Oh yes Pinocchio I have that book but you need your parents to got the book OK um sorry what is your name" Twilight ask him. Twilight know all most all the filly and colt in town " Maybe he new here and where is his parents" Twilight started to think.

 

The colt said to Twilight " I do not know where my parents are But I Know Where Is My Big Brother Is. He With Fluttershy He On a Date" The Colt said in a excited tone.  " And my name is" the white colt started to think " I do not know my name at all why I can't remember twilight" he ask her. He stared to get scared he was asking " I Need my big brother" He started to cry. Twilight till him " come down I will fine your brother but you need to come in first OK" the colt nodded his head and went indside.

 

Twilight tell the white colt to sit down on the chair and she went to the kitchen. Before she open the fridge door she heard knock on the library door. She walk to the door and open the door and she saw Corkscrew and Fluttershy together and suddenly it hit her. The white colt is Corkscrew litter brother  twilight was in shock for a minute and said to him" Ok you need to ask you some thing is that little colt is your brother" Twilight ask in a  unhappy tone.

Music shack Neon hoof " Yes nice to meet you to Total Neon" Music was still smiling at her. still remembering the bump her head on " It is nice to hear you head well be ok" she say in a joking tone.

 

" Oh your hair always was like that" Music thought fore a second and said " I still love hair I wish I have that hair I know my songs will be beautiful" Music said to Neon. " But you with that hair you must be a artists with hair so many colors in your hair you must be a artists" Music said.

 

" And no I do not live here at all but my brother do live here I well introduce you with him but I think you need to go to town hall first I think" Music said but not knowing anything about this town at all. " If you want me to help you I do not mine" Music ask Neon.

"That's fine, we don't start work until tomorrow. So get in as much rest as you can, I'll be cooking up dinner later on once I get back from picking up some groceries, okay?" He replied back to the crystal pony before heading out and making his way downtown.

 

"Oh dear Celestia there's still some changeling webbing in the room that Parcel was in, oh well i'm sure it shouldn't freakout Frayed...at least I hope so," He thought to himself.

"Why hello to you too!" He snapped back. He could see the white colt sitting in the chair. "I have some things to ask you too. For some reason, he thinks I'm his big brother, but both my parents died when I was his age. How could he know my name and Fluttershy's name if he is new in town....wait. There's something fimilar about those eyes. It can't be, can it?"

Corkscrew reaches up behind his ear to take out a white feather he picked up at the castle ruins in the Everfree.

"I think it is." Corkscrew face hooves. "I think it is. I think it's Fire!"

A faint meow can be heard coming from Fluttershy's bag. As the young kitten jumps out and heads over to the young colt, rubbing up agents his leg than going back to Corkscrew. The kitten sat there, starring at its master.

"It's ok Pookie, you can play with him." Seeing the colt play with the kitten was making him warm inside. The first of many emotions to start to return.

"If its ok, I'll let little Fire stay with me?"

Corkscrew looks over to see the colt and kitten playing with each other. He looks to Fluttershy with a half smile on his face.

"Now for the reason I came. I was hoping you cold write Celrstia a letter for me. I feel guilty for almost blowing up the medical wing when I was a nightmare. Do you think she'll forgive me? Also, there's this thing," as he points a hoof to the horn on his head. "I ether need to know how to use it, or how to turn back to normal. I bet in all the books you've read, you've never even heard of a male alicorn. I don't deserve that honor after how I've acted."

Cypriss slowly got up and stumbled over to where the young mare was sitting grabbing her with one hoof and about to move toward the door when it slammed shut the sound of several resounding lock turning in it's bolt. Cypriss stopped in her tracks her eyes wide in attention and she slowly turned to the old mare standing in the corner holding a bowl of sugar in both hooves. Her eyes too were wide but on her face was a huge smile one of her ears twitched making Cypriss fllinch.

"Don't tell me you're leaving already?" her voice was ominous and eery, "we wouldn't want you to go." the young foals eyes darted around the room at the seemingly millions upon millions of tiny ponies all staring, all smiling, all used to be alive. Her line spread out feeling the remains of fear and dispare and this she felt now as she looked at Luminari half asleep then Nexus the fear filling her eyes, "Out."

Rockes could feel the terror filling the room. He retracted his line, making sure not get consumed by it. He looked over to Cypriss-still disguised as the slim colt-and absentmindedly took her/his hoof into his/her own. He tried to reassure the changeling with a smile before turning to the mare. 

 

"What the hell is all this? These dolls, the drugs in the tea. What the buck do you want from us?" Rockes spoke with as much force as a young mare could. He would have to shift back soon, less he start losing himself.
