Princess Mononoke.

I know, I know! Unfortunately, that's pretty much been the only anime I've really watched. I watched that movie when I was about eight, and it started this whole demonic obsession with wolves. I actually wrote a letter to Sarah Palin (back when she was the Governor of Alaska and not...Sarah Freakin' Palin), trying to sound all smart and sassy about the aerial shooting of wolves. xD

Of course, after that I watched Howl's Moving Castle, and then I got into Avatar: The Last Airbender. I've only watched Pokémon and Digimon in clips, really.

Although I did watch the Digimon movie...

and I kinda liked it...

Pokemon, but I didn't watch it. I merely saw it. Pokemon is the first anime that passed in front of my eyes. Yugioh might have been the first I actually watched, but I'm not sure. The first one I was even interested in was Trigun and then Cowboy Bebop.

Pokemon. But if that doesn't count it was probably Trigun or Dragon Ball. I'm not sure exactly which of the two I watched first.

Besides pokemon, my true first anime was Gurren Lagann. A good friend of mine recommended it to me. I ended up in a psychiatric hospital and they had computer access. There was no facebook allowed or anything social and I figured "Why not try anime?" I fell in love with and the whole thing blew my mind. Right now I'm on episode 20 even though I started October 2012. I stopped because Squid Girl and other things keeping me busy

My introduction into anime was with the awesome series of Gundam Wing. As a kid I enjoyed the battles and enjoyed the stlye just because it was diffrent then the other Cartoons on tv at the moment. From that point I saw whatever anime was on (thank you Toonami).

Just sit back and relax as I saw Tenchi Muyo and G Gundam, even remember seeing some of Sailor Moon and Card Captor Sakura. Even got a VHS copy of the Guyver OVA laying around I got as a kid :)

The first anime that I watched was Dragon Ball Z ( The original) then, Pokemon later on. Those were the first two animes that I watched first in my childhood pretty worth it. Then, I saw Naruto after, in 2007 I saw a lot of Naruto episodes.

My very first time watching an Anime I watched the Boon Docks. I love that shows satire! It comes in a nearly endless amount, and the pop culture references are funny too :P

We as fans don't care what others have to say because we know that they have never sat down and watched the show and will never understand its awesomeness. It makes all laugh, smile, and it brings people together who will not judge eachother. Its not just a bunch of fans. Its a whole Community."-me

If I recall correctly, the very first anime I ever saw was Kimba the White Lion.

Since I was young at the time, I didn't know it was anime (I'd never even heard of it). However, years later, I remembered that one episode I had seen (not sure which one it was still tongue.png), and I decided to Google the Kimba series. I discovered it was anime, and I also found out that there were two English dubs: The original 1966 dub, and the 1993 [i think] Canadian dub. The version I first saw was the Canadian dub--but I soon found that I preferred the 1966 version [despite the obvious censorship at points].

I remember seeing a few episodes of that series, when I was fifteen or so. I'd like to go through the series sometime and actually watch it. Did you know The Lion King is a ripoff from Kimba?
