I watched the Shining and I also watched the Making of Shining documentary. I think the actors did a great job but I have mixed feelings on it as a movie overall.

Yeah, it's okay but they book was better and Stanley Kubrik is one of the most overrated things ever.

I just saw the live action How To Train Your Dragon. It was definitely better than most of the Disney live action crap and respected the original.

I saw a glimpse of the trailer and it indeed looked better and more naturally integrated into a live-action format. I'm not *personally* interested in seeing it as I see nothing wrong with the original cartoon format but it was obvious that Dreamworks put far more effort into their live action remake. Maybe they can at least set a standard because the live action remakes I have seen before were painful to watch lol

Yeah I’d never seen it before. It’s a lot different from the book. I can see why Stephen King himself wasn’t happy with it.

So I've been up since early morning working/watching more Stephen King movies

Watched Maximum Overdrive which I love. Especially the music since it's all AC/DC.

I just watch IT (1990). Not scary at all. If anything I found parts of it funny. I will say Tim Curry is great tho.

Nothing wrong with the original, it's basically a perfect movie. This was just some more entertainment.

And it was actually playing in 3D though I just saw it in 2D.

The next movie I may be watching but I'm not committing to is Peter Pan (1953).

I watched Lady and the Tramp (1955) until “Bella Notte“ because I wanted to hear the song. 🍝

K-Pop Demon Hunters

Watched this because my spouse was interested. Honestly, better than I expected.  It just occurred to me what the high-concept pitch might have been for this: Jem and the Holograms meets Sailor Moon
