movies/tv What is your favorite Horrror Drama Tv Show

There are a ton og great horror dramas out right now. My fav would have to Walking Dead (season 3 was SO much better then season 2). Hannibal so far has been amazing and Bates Motel has been great as well. The Following was great for awhile but got massively far fetched and i stopped watching last month (which is good because they added a second season which is idiotic). American Horror Story was rather good (both seasons which were very different).

 

Have you checked these out (if you are old enough and brave enough wooohahahahaha) ?? Which did you prefer? Did not put older series (Dexter, X-Files, Buffy) up here or fantasy (Grimm)...

This needs a reboost. Hannibal ended REALLY strong as did Bates Motel. Not sure how many people checked those show out but i highly recommend tracking them down.

I like True Blood, pretty entertaining. But one thing I dislike, and I know this may seem stupid, is that there's too many full-on sex scenes that it's kind of distracting. I guess I should expect that from a show like this but still...

 

American Horror Story is awesome. Especially Asylum.

 

I've heard really good things about Hannibal so I think I might check it out.

Oh do, it's really well done and amazingly shot. I still can't believe that it's from a major network as it has a very cool art house style to it.

There's a few others, but when it comes to horror I'm more into stuff about real ghosts/urban legends/haunted places.

Does the tv show supernatural count? It definatly has enough blood and death per episode, plus sam, dean, castiel and bobby are badasses!

I'm a huge fan of The Walking dead, so that takes the top, but I also really enjoy Bates Motel.

 

Then there is the Following. I watched that for awhile, it was just so creepy that I never finished it.

 

However, The Walking Dead takes number one. I've watched that since the beginning and have been in love with it since the first episode.

Hemlock Grove is actually pretty good. It's a bit weird and there are parts that make me uneasy but all in all it's a fairly good show!

My favorite is Twin Peaks. It's pretty old, from the nineties. It's extremely confusing, but that just adds to the charm. THe horror is mostly psychological, which I can appreciate more than gore (like the Walking Dead).
