Oh, well you did say 'meanwhile outside the sub, there was a loud sound' so I thought you ment that everyone heard it.

That would be a mistake on my part. I meant it was only picked up by the submarines crew...their listening crew ? (I cant think of what its called)

Something like that. I believe it is the high pitch sound waves coming from whatever is going that so that only ponies with the special equipment could hear it.

I may be wrong, since I know dolphins communicate at high pitches. You are probably right though, considering that high pitch things don't travel well underwater.

Anything weird we need to know about your character ?: Uhhhhh Military father, but not a soldier myself? Aspiring novelist? The fact that I view the world and life as if it were a story and we are all playing the roles of our "characters"/souls/destinies. (This isn't me godmoding, it reflects my actual worldview.)

 

What role will your character be on this Expedition ?: VIP security. My actual job in Canterlot is being a, for hire, bodyguard. Anypony the Captain wants looked after and protected, be they him/herself, the guide, or his bratty little daughter; I will defend them even at the cost of myself.

 

What does your character hope to gain from this experience ?: Self-authenticity. My cutie-mark is one part story-telling and one part swordplay. It has long been my dream to claim the title of Master Swordpony, even though no one has held the title since Luna's banishment 1,000 years ago. The last Master Swordpony being the mythic Red Pommel. That said, I wish to be the Master Swordpony, if not officially then just by my own definition. By doing this, I become more than just a story teller, but the one they tell stories about! Such a daring expedition would no doubt include opportunity for high-flying, sword-swinging heroism.

You're extra protection...or just security. There aren't really any VIP members of the sub so...you would just be a guard like the other's...

You also need to go meet up with the other two security guards for a check up thing. ( Arctic Combustion (Creeping Dusk) Master Sgt. Lemming Giant (Dawn Stripes) Those two)

I know you just kinda made that character up considering I never mentioned her...but I am the one to control the characters that have more to do with the RP. Controlling simple characters like other crew members or stuff like that is fine...

Naw, its really okay, I actually thought it was clever. You don't need to edit again...I am still not really sold on the idea of adding my OC Diamond so...we will see.

Well I appreciate it.  One thing I can take pride in is sometimes (when the stars are right) I can make existing characters, or copies thereof, sound like the original writing. I just feel particularly self-violated because I've otherwise been able to stave off anything even vaguely resembling godmodding in other threads. To the point I was giving tips to another on how NOT to do it.

Is Nightfall an alicorn or a unicorn in this one? Thus far, I've just had Cascade not notice any wings, because I'm not sure if there are any there.
