Introvert or extrovert?

I'd like to know your personalities. For example, do you enjoy being the center of attention, or would you rather stay in solitary confinement? Are you quiet around strangers or are you like Pinkie Pie and don't know the meaning of the word "stranger"? So, let's hear it.

I'm situationally aware, that's all. I'm not going to walk up and be chummy with someone who isn't obviously interested in getting to know me but I don't consider myself socially inept at all. And do I enjoy being the center of attention? Yes, yes I do. Will I scrounge to get that role? Nope.

I'm definitely an introvert. Although I do enjoy hanging out with my friends and going out to places (stores, restaurants, bars, parks, road trips, conventions, etc.), I absolutely revel in time spent alone. I can find so much peace in solitude. I mean I'm not socially inept, it's just that to me, nothing really beats a quiet morning jog or an evening of digital painting on my computer.

I am not really sure what I am, sometimes I feel like an introverted extrovert. I am usually queit and out of the way, calm, cool, collected. The friendly, sort of distant guy listening to music in the corner. But then, I can suddenly go to this wild zany jokster who loves to lead, take charge, debate wild claims, sing, etc. This can greatly confuse my friends who don't normally see my wild side.

 

The funny thing is that I like both and want to be both at the same time. I have fought over which one I should work to be more from time to time. I love my solitary time, but I also love being energetic and crazy. Hopefully I can find a nice balance eventually, but for now my identitiy is kind of confused...

I get along with others but Iam not a good conversation leader but if the conversation is going I can join in and actually talk alot.

The best describtion I've heard of introvertive and extrovertive is this:

An introvert is somepony who get his/her energy by being alone. So he/she could go to a party depressed. have fun, but would still be depressed afterwards.

An extrovert is somepony who gets their energy from being with other people. A party would cheer him/her up

I might like alone time but i tend to be near the center if not the center of attention. I'd rather make friends with everypony even i our views aren't the same. I really REALLY hate being anything less then best, i will constantly try to outdo my competitors is anyway i see fit. i don't care for cheaters and cheating. i tend to stay calm but when i start my friends say i get really mad, like blind fury! but im rahating, um i try to be as kind as possible and be a great leader by example. that sums it up!

I tend to flip-flop between the two. While for the most part I'm incredibly introvert, I do have moments when I'm suddenly outgoing and speak pinkie style gibberish. At least one person has given me funny looks when I've done this.

More introvert... Pretty much a background guy and a listener, love the occasional silence... but i'm very open and social if you just walk up to me. On the other hoof i am quite a joker, i love to make people laugh.

But i do care for others when the need arises. Nothing makes me happier than knowing ive helped someone in some way. When my freinds have a problem I can honestly say I do my best to help them out.

I don't exactly fight to be the center of attention...but I tend to lead discussions/debates a lot.

 

I also enjoy talking to just about anyone who doesn't piss me off...so that's everybody but Hugo Chavez and a kid on my bus.

 

I can't say I'm hyperactive, though. I more so try to stay calm and relaxed, I find things go easier that way...but when I do go off, whether it be angry or...Pinkie Pie style, I don't stop 'till it's all out of my system.

Don't like putting attention to myself if people can see me (an example would be the announcement videos; I can do them easily because nobody's really watching me but rather listening to me, which is easier for me to handle). In all honesty, I hate presenting myself towards others, especially in presentations I need to do, unless I'm with a group of friends that I trust and care about.

 

To be quite honest, unless you really know me and I actually think that you're a stand up person IRL, I'm not gonna be very interesting to you. Most likely, I'll probably come off as that "stoned loner that always has his headphones on". I'm being serious, I've had people tell me I look like I'm high when I don't even do drugs. -_-
