Moonbeam gently dabbed Sorrow's nose with the wet towel, slowly cleaning away all of the blood. "See? There you go." Next, she gently placed the ice against the bruised areas to ease the swelling and dull the pain.She placed a part of the towel between the ice and Sorrow so that the ice would not sting. "I have to hold it like this for a bit. It will help with the bruising. Just relax."

 

 

"You're more than welcome." he replied courteously while handing over the things. "Nopony should be left alone when they are hurt and sad." Nightraxx then said with a soft, but honest tone.

 

"Nightraxx remembered one of his best Friends from pony highschool, who also used to be really sad and depressed all the time. He remembered how he cutted himself off from the outside.......and then...." The Memory suddenly abrupts.

 

But... I'm so scared to be with anyone... Why can't just leave me alone? 

 

Sorrow had just continued to softly cry to herself, just wanting this nightmare to end and for her to be alone, like she always wants to... At least it was just 2 of them... She couldn't take more of anypony else.

Fire sighed. "Well it was nice talking to you Bru. I will have to catch you later. I need to eat before I go perform. Ta ta." She winked before grabbing her things and trotting off into the ship.

She planned on going to her room before the dining room...she needed to put her sunscreen...and glasses...and towel away before eating.

Sorrow had just continued to softly cry to herself, just wanting this nightmare to end and for her to be alone, like she always wants to... At least it was just 2 of them... She couldn't take more of anypony else.

"Um, in the meantime, could you do me a favor?" She pushed a pen and piece of parchment in front of Sorrow. "Can you write your name? I don't want to just call you 'pony' forever. Oh, okay, I think the swelling went down a lot. You might still want to go to the infirmary. We can walk you there if you want. I know you're shy around ponies, but at least you kind of know us. We can keep other ponies from bothering you."

Sunburst trotted down the hallway and, rounding a corner, passed by a blue mare with a fiery mane. She looked kinda nice. In passing, she gave a small smile and a brief greeting. Why bother stopping to gossip when there were books to be read? Seriously.

Nightraxx checked outside the door in front of the room, not so much ponies were walking around anymore, as most seemed to gather somewhere. "Where are they all going?"

Sorrow had opened her eyes, only to see a very watery Moonbeam. Her tears had obscured her vision again. But, she had listened, and instead of writing down on paper, she had used her hoof on the carpet. Her writing was very fancy, spelling out one word: Sorrow.

"Uh, I knew it was that direction. I was just, uh, testing your navigational abilities?" Windy offered feebly, feeling his face grow hot underneath his golden brown coat. Since Bolt looked nonplussed, he tried to change the topic as he turned and began heading the other way with her, towards a door at the far end of the hall, which, Windy assumed, opened into the dining hall. Hoping to break the ice with the mare and stop sounding so foolish, Windy gestured to Bolt's cutie mark. "Hey Bolt, that's a really cool mark you've got there. If this isn't asking too personal a question, what's it mean?"

Sorrow had opened her eyes, only to see a very watery Moonbeam. Her tears had obscured her vision again. But, she had listened, and instead of writing down on paper, she had used her hoof on the carpet. Her writing was very fancy, spelling out one word: Sorrow.

"Sorrow? I see. That's not a very uplifting name, but a beautiful one regardless. So, Sorrow, do you want to go to the infirmary or do you want to do something else? It's up to you. I know you don't do well around other ponies, but I hope you can count the two of us as friends, okay? Here let me help you up." Moonbeam got up on all fours and once again reached a hoof down to Sorrow to help her up.

Fire trotted down the hall and stopped for a minute...she had taken a glance at the map earlier that day...but she felt slightly lost.
She smiled slightly at a mare who was trotting by before speaking. "Excuse me...sorry to bother you but you don't happen know where the dining hall is do you ? I'm a little lost and i'm looking for my room...I know how to get to it from there but right now I...have no idea where I am." She said, blushing slightly and scratching the back of her head.

Firebolt said nothing for quite a while. Or did anything, for that matter. Eventually, she created a small flame. It appeared to be slightly brighter then the typical flame. That said, the glow also reached a bit farther. "Weak..." The unicorn muttered to herself.

Frost cocked his head. "Dirigible plu-Oh. I get it. Eheheh..." She seemed to be an interesting pony, that was for sure. The comment about her needing to "be somewhere real" made him all the more curious. "I'm sure she meant it in a good way. Do you think that maybe she said it because you...don't get out much?" His eyes grew wide after what he heard himself say. "Not that it's a bad thing to chill at home and relax, I mean. I understand how that works, but I'd much rather be performing for other ponies. It's always fun to get out every now and then to have a bit of fun." Oh, how Frost knew that. When he wasn't idly playing music on his guitar or with his friends, he was probably hitting on the nearest mare. Rather horribly.

I feel kinda stupid getting lost considering I literally spent about twenty minutes doing my best to memorize a map." She chuckled.

Moonstruck raised a single eyebrow. "I get out plenty." She didn't sound quite offended. More like she didn't know what to think about the colt. "I'm not an author for having a dull life, you know." Okay, maybe she did sound a little offended, but not too badly so. 

 

Fire smiled and trotted closer to the mare. "My name is Fire Sky. And you don't have to lead me there if you don't want too. If you were busy I don't want to mess with your plan's. I feel kinda stupid getting lost considering I literally spent about twenty minutes doing my best to memorize a map." She chuckled.

Sunburst shrugged. "The library will still be there tomorrow. It can wait, there's no problem whatsoever." She trotted along, tut-tutting under breath for a moment, then said, "It's nice to meet you, Fire Sky." She glanced at the mare, and said, "I like your mane. It's... got a really warm aura to it."

Sunburst nodded. "I have something I want to check out first, I think there's a library here as well. I'll see you there, then?" She nodded, and turned to walk down the hallway alone, towards the aft of the ship, without waiting for a response.

 

(Is it the library we meet at or you have to check it out?)

 

"Right." Firecracker responded as she left. He then trotted downstairs to the lobby. "Sunburst's cute... But anyways I need to get to the dining room. I wonder what other kinds of ponies I'll meet there..."  he thought as he looked for a map to tell him where the dining room.

"Yea...I am excited to actually be able to get out into the ocean." She said, glancing up at the clock on the wall above the bar. "Wow...its getting pretty close to dinner. Today has...never mind. I was about to say the whole day flew by...but getting on the ship was a nightmare for me." She sighed and finished her tea.

"Today was very... Hectic." Violet thought over her whole day, from waking up and rushing around to fill the holiday orders to boarding the ship. This was the only peace she'd had all day. "Speaking of dinner, I am very hungry. And I have yet to see the rest of the ship."

Windy was confused at first by Bolt's silence, wondering if he had asked too personal a question. Just as he turned towards her and was opening his mouth to apologize, however, he was struck dumb by the sight of her conjuring fire from seemingly out of nowhere. His jaw dropped like a schoolcolts, and he became memorized by the entrancing flame, dancing and licking at the air. However, the flame soon vanished. Windy heard Bolt mutter negatively that it was weak, and did a double take. 

 

"What are you talking about Bolt? That wasn't weak, that was awesome! I've never seen anything so cool in my life! It was... OOOFF!"

 

Windy had become so animated in elaborating on how amazing he thought Bolt's fire was that he hadn't realized that he was about to reach the door to the dining room, which, unfortunately for Windy, was a 'pull' door, not a 'push' door. Bouncing off of the door, Windy shook his head sheepishly, then opened the door and held it for Bolt to walk through. 

 

"Sorry about that... I was just so distracted by how incredible that fire of yours was!! By the way, we're here. After you," He said, gesturing for her to go through first.

Firebolt giggled softly. "Nah. Since it's a synthesized flame... it doesn't have heat. So, in turn, it should be brighter... Thank you." She said, entering the open door. It was quite obvious what this stallion was trying to do. Regardless... it could always be useful.

 

"No one's here..." Firebolt said, overlooking the almost empty room.

Fire blushed slightly but cleared her throat and just ignored it. "Really ? I have never touched it...ever...as in all I do is shower and I brush, but I heard most mares do all sorts of stuff to their mane. Straightening...curling. I just don't have the time...well, I do...but I don't bother." She said, chuckling. "My brother's mane is just like it...sorda..."

Frost's ears drooped. Oh boy, he was afraid of that. In an attempt to turn the conversation in another direction, he cleared his throat. "Oh, you're an author? I...had no idea. What kinds of things do you write about?" To be fair, he hadn't thought about the story aspect of his songs, only that they portrayed some kind of moral. He could smell...something as they neared the end of the hallway. It seemed as though they weren't far off from their destination. Okay, new plan: don't annoy her.

This is starting to get time-consuming.... I wanna go back to my room... I don't wanna be with her anymore... I don't wanna change like they;re telling me to... 

 

She was tearing up again.
