I love Battlefield 3, I'm playing it right now in fact.

Battlefield would have been a better game for me,But whenever I get on to play BF3.There's always an update that takes 2 hours to download.So I havent been playing a lot lately.Half the time I cant join a server too.

 

But when I do get a chance to play.I run around with a shotgun or either a UMP 45.Because sometime the maps are small and tight cornered.

For those who don't play BF3, maybe this thread will encourage you to buy it (Not saying you have to ), and you could learn some BF3 stuff off of this. For instance, I think I wanna do a gun review series on this thread where I talk about the performance of a weapon and mah opinions on it. I won't do it every post, but it's just something for some of you guys to learn about. After all, maybe there's a gun you want to try out but son't know anything about. First, let's start with mah personal favorite, the F2000.

 

The F2000 is an assault rifle exclusive to the Assault class, unlocked after 124,000 Assault XP points. The gun fires much faster than most AR's at 850 RPM, I think only beaten by the FAMAS (1000 RPM), and the burst-fire mode for the AN-94 (1200 RPM). The gun deals the same damage, which is 25-18.4, as every other AR (Except for the G3A1), meaning it will take 4-6 shots to kill someone. It's recoil can be described as moderate. It is good for close/medium range encounters, but sorta derps up at longer range. Of course said recoil will be altered by certain attachments. The gun has a 30 round mag +1, and reloads at around 2.6 seconds. This is quite standard for an AR. The irons are usable, but I prefer a Reflex RDS, as I can see a little bit better with this gun.

 

Overall, this weapon is arguably one of the best AR's in the game. It's quite funny, since the MW2 version of the F2000 was one of the most underrated weapons in ANY CoD game (It did 4-5 hit kills w/o Stopping Power, shot at 925 RPM, but had HIGH recoil. I still love the MW2 version too, though). It's got a great RPM, descent reload, relatively controllable recoil, good CQ mechanics due to it's spray-and-prey nature with it's high fire rate and descent hipfire, and is just an overall great weapon .

I'm pretty sure that's the Close Quarters DLC update. It takes a while but it mostly harmless. It adds a new playlist called CQ TDM, but all the other QC related-stuff comes with the DLC itself.

 

The next gun I will probably review is the AUG A3, a new weapon that I can only desrcibe as BF3's version of the MW3 ACR (Which is funny, because the ACW-R, which is essentially the ACR, is in BF3, but fires much faster than the MW2/MW3 ACR's ).

Speaking of discussion, I just want an opinion by some of you guys; should I buy Battlefield Premium? I heard it's similiar to CoD ELITE but WAAAAAY much better. I'm still not sure if that'll convince me to fork over $50, but the really good outcome of buying CQ DLC makes spending $50 in order to get every other DLC FREE sounds like a nice bet

By far my favorite game. I own it on PC as well as Xbox. The amount of teamwork and special effects in this game is phenomenal, though I don't like that Dice down scaled the destruction :/ , but the increase in detail was a plus. I'm also a premium player, and can't wait for end game to come out with air superiority  . Though as of now, I still think that Back to Karkand was best DLC.

I used to play Battlefield 3 a lot on PS3. Enjoyed the game, every single bit of it. Besides the bugs,glitches,hacks, and other bad additions to the game. I like the game for the dedicated servers, and fast gameplay, especially the communication between teammates.

I love Battlefield 3 I want premium and all of the DLC's I only have Back to Karkand. The only problem with this game is the other people (sometimes) who play it. The are people who do not use vehicles to assist in the mission. And purposely crash them or take them somewhere they are not useful. If you kill a server admin you will more than likely get kicked. Its why Operation Metro is one of my favorite maps. No Vehicles just close quarters combat. But "baserape" as its known is very common. If the enemy team captures all of the spawn points they can all move into your spawn area and kill you before you even spawn in. I love this game but its not without problems.

I got it not to long ago for a steal ($12) and been playing ever since. This is also the first "Mainstream" game i got for PC. Im surprised how smoothly it runs with a GTX 650 :v
