It was a sparkling, shiny new day down at Camp Paradox. After his recent 'Reformation', Discord decided to team up with Chrysalis to cause some harmless fun...well, maybe not so harmless.
 
Discord stared out at the sunset. He sent thirteen ponies invitations to a competition to a summer resort. Well, it actually wasn't a summer resort, but it was more like a crudely build summer camp. Discord and Chrysalis had it drilled into their mind that ponies would be PO'd. Thank everything Celestia, Luna, Cadence, and/or the Elements didn't know about this. Discord checked the list and turned to Chrysalis.

"They should be here any minute now! On a big fancy boat, too." Discord chriped.

Chrysalis groaned. "I'm going back into the mess hall. Call me once you need me." Chrysalis sashayed away.

"Girls." Discord dully stated.

A summer resort, eh? Looks like it's high time for me to R&R, given that I'm a busy colt... *evil smile*

 

*looks at Discord* "Hey, I thought you were petrified when the Mane 6 kick your flank..."

 

Why the hay is Discord here? Why did he become so nice, offering a summer resort?

Discord looked down. "Hey there! Also, by the way, there actually is no summer resort!" He fell over, laughing his head off. "Yeah, I know. I'm so hilarious. You guys get a...summer camp!"

 

The summer camp was crudely built, with two worn-out cabins. There was a small campfire, and a messy and cruddy beach.

 

"Enjoy it while it lasts." Discord merely chuckled, but pointed to the other end of the boardwalk. "Now stand over there."

Scarlet Stage was on the boat looking out at the sky "So pretty!" Scarlet said to herself and smiled. She felt the boat stop and trotted to the exit. Scarlet looked around 'I wonder how this will be, probably so fun!' She thought to herself then bumped into somepony. Scarlet looked up... oh wait, not somepony...Discord! "So you invited us here huh? Why would you do that? Cause you're nice now? Pinkie Pie says you aren't a meanie anymore!" She said looking up at Discord and smiling "So you wont be mean to me right?" Scarlet said with a sad puppy looking face

Sport came in next on a boat. He saw the island and said, "Wow, it's really nice here." The boat pulled in to the dock and Sport stepped off with his stuff. Then he saw Discord. "Discord? You invited us here?" Sport asked. "Well, thanks for the invite. It's nice to see a villian turn into nice." He added. "Hmm, is he being nice or tricking us? Oh well. Right now I'll stick with nice." Sport thought to himself. Then he introduced himself. "Hello guys, I'm Sport and I'm a baseball player."

Discord stretched his neck out as far away as possible from Scarlet before answering in a sarcastic tone.

 

"No, I would never even dream of it. Now go stand with the other contestants."

 

'Note to self- Be mean to Scarlet'. Discord thought in his head before the next pony came.

"Well, according to dear little Fluttershy, I've been reformed." Discord said with a groan and not meeting sports eye. "Well, since it appears you all know who little ol' me is, I must comment on the baseball thing. I am afraid I have been sealed into stone for many a time, so do you have an idea on what baseball is?" For further affect, he made a halo appear above his head.

Jewel was next on the boat. She hopped off of the boat almost before it stopped. She walked up to Discord and gave him a hoof-claw shake, which turned into a hug. "Hi, I'm so glad to be here Dis. It's great to be in such a beautiful place." She walked past and looked around.

Isaiah came next and stepped onto the dock. "Sup?" He said fist bumping Discord. "Let's just say, no one here knows what's coming fo them."

Ace was the next to arrive on the island and he was exited, the boat didn't even reach the dock when Ace jumped off sad to say he missed the dock. Ace was able to climb back onto the dock and shake himself dry. "Whoa, ok I missed the dock, anyway hey Discord! Let me tell you I'm so exited to be here!!!"

The big steam boat gently chugged through the water. Kismet had her head out the dock and letting her mane flap behind her. The wind felt so good, so crisp and fresh. This summer resort was bound to be a wonderful time. She thought back to last week, when she was invited to come on this vacation.

 

It was a strange sealed letter in her mailbox with no return address. It promised fun and relaxation for all sorts of ponies, and best of all, it was free! Of course it had seemed strange to ride a boat mentioned in a classified letter with no idea who the sender was, but crime and disharmony in Ponyville had been almost zero since the Mane 6 had defeated Discord and converted him to be kind. A beautiful free summer resort vacation - or staying at home alone...? It was a risk she was willing to take.

 

The boat suddenly lurched forward and stopped, telling her that they had arrived at their destination. The island looked a bit smaller and more dingy than she had imagined, but perhaps this was just a disguise to keep other ponies from intruding. She trotted of the boat happily with her saddlebag bouncing on her back. She turned to greet the host and saw that it was Discord. He looked at her with an insane-looking smile and she swallowed:

 

"M..my name is Kismet. You wouldn't happen to know if this is the summer resort I was invited to perhaps? I..it's a pleasure to meet you sir, I've heard all about you..." Kismet kept her ears back but tried to look brave.

Sport answered back and explained. Baseball is a great Equestrian past time sport where there are nine ponies on the field and there's a pitcher that throws a ball *shows his cutie mark of a baseball* and there's a batter with a long thick stick called a bat. There are 4 bases, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and home plate. If you hit the ball out of the field in fair territory it's a home run."

The Boat  finally arrived for Chaos.."I've Been Sitting here for a few hours"Chaos Thought to him self as he boarded the boat. He was hopefull about this..he always love to meet others..but he was gonna enjoy competing with the others..he felt the boat starting to slow down.. he looked... they have arrived at the island he saw Discord and Walked Up While Saying "Hello My Name Is Chaos...ChaosFonFabre...Do you know if this is the Halo tournament i was invited too."

"Somepony who isn't freaked out because of me! And you're a wicked cool Griffon, too. We non-ponies gotta stick together." Discord mused said while being squished, then snapping his claws and appearing beside the griffon. "Now stand over there."

"Well, gee, i'm excited too." Discord groaned. "Now stand over there with your enemies and mingle upon yourselves.

Discord grinned. "About the summer resort, well, let's say I lied. There isn't a summer resort here."

 

"Instead, you are all staying at a SUMMER CAMP!"

 

Discord pointed at the crudely built camp, cruddy campfire, and the disgusting beach.

 

"Any further objections?"

Discord didn't really care what baseball was, so he pretty much didn't pay attention to Sports. "What? Oh, yeah, sure, whatever. Now be quiet."

"Halo tournament?" Discord asked. Oh boy, he could have fun with this. He made a halo appear above his head, and took a bite out of it. "Is this the halo you were talking about? Eh, well, I lied. Your at a summer resort. Now shut up and stand over there while we wait for the others of this fantabulous game to come."

As Forest walked off the boat and looked around. he was disappointed with what he saw, but the biggest thing that shocked him was that Discord was here.

"Discord? what is going on here? and what happened to resort?" 

"So does somepony want to explain to me what is going on?"

The next boat arrived, Wheatley got off the boat and as soon as he got out he looked around

 

"Well, this isn't what i expected it to be" He said a bit disappointed

 

He walked forward and saw discord talking to the others

 

"And look who we have here, now it makes sense, i hope reforming you was worth it"

 

He walked to the end of the boardwalk, there was a bunch of ponies he didn't know so he just stood there maybe for someone to approach him and talk

"That's so unfunny, by the way" I always knew not to trust the Avatar of Chaos, especially that Incident with Mane 6. So I am here on this reso- I mean, summer camp that looks like it's been torn down, along with a few ponies that I don't even know.

"Discord, why did you have to fake that resort just to get us here? And fine." Well, you can't absolutely try to argue with a madman who has powers over reality, like me, even if I have this order to myself not tu use them.

Times like these tha you've just got to go with the flow..

"Why? How bad can he/she/it be?" Ace asked while everypony was gathering around the our end of the docks. 'Hm, now that my excitement has...somewhat went down I wonder what Discord is planning' Ace thought to himself. "I bet the chef is a creature of unknown origins! Hidden deep in the Everfree Forest! Or something you just made up on the fly."

"Neither of those, actually." Discord said with a grin before a megaphone appeared in his claw. "CHRYSALIS!"

 

A changeling queen that everypony in Canterlot knew too well walked onto the boardwalk right in front of Ace. "Well...hello there. I came here at the invitation of Discord...and you all better start going on dates so I can feed on all of the love. Don't worry, i'll prepare...meals for you...heh..."

Imagine waited a tad impatiently to get to the island, she groaned, it had been about 2 hours and 15 minutes, she thought about Frostfire, her adopted little brother, how he would be treating the babysitter, since he never treated Imagine nicely, she looked out the window, the island was now right in her face, she had arrived. She got off the boat and stepped her hooves onto the island.

"Kay Kay" Scarlet said then walked to where the other ponies were "So Discord, will we be doing any cool activities? What do you have planned?" Scarlet said with a big smile "This is gonna super duper funnn!" Scarlet looked around and watched as more ponies arrived

The next boat arrived quite quickly, it's driver was pretty much insane and Aura had to hold onto the boat in order to stay bound to it. The little dragon quietly thanked the driver despite the fact she was still shaking from the excitement and then she exited the boat and onto the docks.

 

She quickly scanned the island and then remembered the letter she had gotten that day. The surroundings didn't look or sound anything like the summer resort that In the letter. Aura turned around to get back on the boat but it had already left.

 

Initially, seeing Discord somewhat struck fear into the already timid dragoness but she mustered the courage to speak to him to get a better understanding.

 

"Umm excuse me...Mr. Discord." Aura said politely. Her voice barely over that of a whisper. "Am I on the right island? It's just that this doesn't look anything like it sounded like In the letter." She said looking at the ocean which was littered with toxic wastes.

Kismet turned to see the infamous Queen of the Changlings appear right before her and the other ponies. She gave a weak smile to Discord and winced, retreating back to the now fairly large group of ponies waiting. She ruffled her feathers and straightened her saddlebag. 

 

"It'll be fine," she thought to herself, "a summer camp is like a resort, but with nature activities... right?" She tried not to think about it but couldn't help but think that something wasn't right. She turned to ask a random pony;

 

"What's going on here? Does anypony know what we've gotten ourselves into?"

"Oh Dear Luna" Forest said out-loud "Discord and Chrysalis  I can say none of us are getting out of here alive" He shake his head. "Well then i might as well get to know the other ponies" he walked over to where the other ponies were gathered and waited for what was going to happen next.
