We've not left the Crystal Empire yet, and in order for us to get to Appleloosa, we have to pass Canterlot.

As long as there are no guns, or weapons that would be deemed unfair (can you have a fair weapon?) I dont see a problem, but what would you have in mind before we give any definite answers?

 

No guns? *quietly shoves any references to Arrow's battesaddle under a carpet*. I guess battlesaddles and the like just faded into disuse since Arrow's time, or something?

 

Eh, he's a pretty experienced adventurer, it's plausible he'd be just as handy with a sword. Oh! Or a whip, like Indiana Jones!

 

But he's meant to be all nitty gritty... For a pastel coloured pony....

Sorry, but guns are just too OP. There's a character using them in a tournament RP that I'm in, and they're just ridiculous. Trust me, we had our reasons for establishing the no guns rule.

Main reason for no guns is simply because some of us have ran into problems with gun wielders in RPs in the past being a problem.

Either one pony has a gun and becomes super OP, or we all have guns and there's no real fighting to be had. 

You're welcome to use pretty much anything you want aside from...well powerful ranged weapons, really. The battlesaddle could be modified for carrying extra supplies...or something.

How exactly will all their assassination, collection, and spying missions work? As in, how will we find out about all the important stuff (for example, a raid to conquer an area, a public appearance by one of Cadence's important allies, etc)?

Don't worry about it. I'd hate to give one of my characters an unfair advantage in the roleplay.

So I just noticed you mentioned something about meta gaming in the RP.

I went back and had a look, and I don't see it myself. You stated that Fiera glared at Swordpoint, and when Justin responds to your actions, you call him out on meta gaming? It's not hard to tell when someone is glaring at someone else, especially when that someone is looking around at the people he's addressing.

Hmmm...well, basically what we've discussed in the PMs lead to a conclusion. 

 

Whenever you need to initiate a spy mission to get some information about what Cadence is planning, let me know in the OoC and i'll drum something up. I'll be sure to give a good description about things, the room, the plans, weak points in the room that could be exploited etc, and there can be success or failure. 

So be warned, not all of your spy missions will be a success and you may end up worse off than you started - ie, injured or worse. 

 

So...basically just let me know, i'll rustle up what I can think of at the time (probably nothing exciting with my creative mind ) and try and make it so you don't have to make things up yourself and just go with the posts. That goes for whoever is spying, obviously.

I don't see how Swordpoint could just know what she was thinking this whole time without her giving a hint as to why she was unhappy. So i called out a meta gaming. But he explained in his reply how he would guess.

While they leave, we invade and get out of their before they return.

But anyways, we're in Appleloosa. I'm going to let my team mates talk to Applejack and then I'll have her show us the way to the trade route. From there, we'll go out looking for the caravan and possibly fight some bandits.
