"thanks, bro. just let me pick up my "art" supplies and then we can head over to your place." the two ponies head over to the art store and rouge bust into a full on gallop into the store grabbing every can of spray paint available after that he comes to a complete stop sending all of the spray paint cans across the store narrowly hitting volt and a few other ponies in the head. the spray paint cans land on the counter for them to be paid for. "woops sorry every pony!" rouge apologized. he went up to the counter clerk "200 bits." she said blatantly. "yesh, for fourty cans of paint? celestia im going to go broke before next week." he paid the money and went over to volt and said "welp, alons-y!!"

Curious walked up to the door, shot a concerned look at his sister, and then said, "Mystic, I am not going anywhere. Not now, not anytime soon. I mean, I'm not the kind of stallion to settle down, so I'll probably pack my bags after some months. But, I am not going to leave you."

Volt was at a loss for words. 'Oh Celestia, what have I gotten myself into?' He walked out of the store with his new companion. "Do you need some help with that stuff?" He nodded towards the paint cans. He wasn't a unicorn, but despite his lanky build, he was quite strong and could carry several paint cans.

"yea *grunts* here, take the grey ones please." gives volt a large bag of black and grey spray saint cans. as they are walking to his apartment rouge wind thinks 'okay now that i have the tools i can start spreading my art and maybe just maybe i can get noticed' "hey do you have any black hoodies i can barrow? maybe a filtration mask also? cause im going to need some for my line of work." "also do you have a blow torch?" the stallion looked as if a little filly had just asked him to have sex and droped the spray paint cans at his front door.

"oh, Vinyl, h-how long have you been there?"

Cuppie looked up at Amour and noticed she needed her so she trotted over to her, "oh yes ma'am can I get you anything else?"

 

I could always get on a boat but which one? And I'd have to go down to the docks and he would be there. Oh what am I going to to do?

 

All these thoughts raced around her head as she waited for the mares reply.

she walked inside and suddenly remembered her broken door

Dogboots had wandered around the city for a great deal of time. It was at the point where the stallion had no idea where he was. In a way it was fitting, the stallion was not only lost but also mentally lost. He embarrased himself and Cuppie.

"okay so ,umm do you know the dj vinyl scratch?"rouge asked volt, volt just shook his head yes. "then you must know about her bass cannon, correct?" again volt shook his but this time taking a step back. "good cause im building something very slimier! i call it the PAINT PULSAR!!!" rouge takes out the blue prints to colorful machine and gives them to volt. "you wana help me build it, i'll pay you!?" now rouge was ecstatic and was waiting for volts response.

Volt was a little taken back by Rouge's plan and his sudden excitement. But he was a little relieved that Rouge wasn't some psycho. "Well I guess I could help. And I need the money since I don't have a job here yet. Maybe it'll be fun." They went inside the apartment and Volt took his new companion. Volt's body grew a faint electric blue, and then all of the color shot off in the form of a lightning bolt and his light turned on.

"how did you do that i mean the only pony i have ever seen do that was an... elemental pony." rouge had said the last part slowly. 'oh sweet celestia, please don't let him be an elemental pony cause if so things wont go to well in the future.' "are you an elemental pony?" rouges voice went flat void of all emotion.

Curious cringed a bit at the sight of Mystic pecking Vinyl on the cheek, but it seemed platonic enough that he didn't do anything rash... again. He and Scarlet followed Mystic back into the apartment.

 

"Um, I really am quite sorry about the door. I'll pay for the repairs, I wouldn't want you to spend any of your money on something as silly as that." Scarlet said, "We didn't exactly start off on the right hoof, so allow me to introduce myself properly. My name is Scarlet, Scarlet Trace. I am the older sister of Curious here, in case you didn't quite catch that."

 

Curious rolled his eyes, "Of course they noticed that. Mystic is rather quite observant, and Vinyl could probably figure it easily enough." Curious always got a bit grumpy whenever Scarlet caught up to him. The fact that she had interrupted a rather pleasant morning and caused his marefriend to cry certainly didn't help.

"Oay, let me explane what an elemental pony is a pony that isn't a unicorn that is able to control a element of some type, like my sis for example she can control the earth around her even though she is blind she can use the earth to "see" around her. the reason i acted the way i did was because she had told me not to trust anypony that is an elemental until i know for sure that they are good. so sorry. " rouge explained while volt just stood and listened.

"Hmmm no I don't think I'm an elemental pony. If I understand what you mean at least. I don't control the lightning from the sky, I generate myself but I don't really know how. But how I Switch is not magic. It's science. I create a current using my electricity. Then when the current hits somepony, I create a circuit. The circuit causes them to go where I am and vise versa. Once we Switch, I cut the current so that the circuit stops. Hope that clears things up." Volt smiled at his new friend.

He didn't know much about those sciences at all! He was good with physical science because that's where electricity fell under. But other than that, he wasn't recognized with other sciences that much

"I'm Vinyl. Vinyl Blade. So, Scarlet, how long are you gonna be here for?" She looked at her in much the same way Scarlet looked at her earlier

"Oh, good good, okay we are going to need some anti-matter, a geo- distributer, a blow torch and some filtration mask." Rouge had told volt while he got up and went over to the door. "Hmm, we will also need a type of triger and a pressure system, you coming?" 'i wonder if we will run into that guy again, maybe volt knows' "hey volt do you know of a stallion that has a brown mane and coat he wears boots and also looks as if he has been on a fish boat our something similar?"

((Done with the Naval Summer Seminar. I'll still be a bit sporadic with my posts, since I'm still college hunting, but at least I have my laptop again and am not too tired to post consistently, so I can take control of Windy again))

 

Windy smiled as Vinyl bid him goodbye for work. Grabbing a pile of bacon for the flight, he spread his wings and began flying towards the downtown area, hoping he wasn't late. Touching down in front of his new office with a few minutes to spare, he licked the bacon grease off of his hooves and slicked back his mane before stepping inside. When he gave his name, he was shown upstairs to a large, comfortably furnished room right next to Mr. Margin's office, which even had its own bathroom. There was a note waiting for him on his new desk.

 

Hello Windy!

 

Glad to see you made it back here in good time! This will be your new office for the foreseeable future, so break it in and make it comfortable for yourself. If you need or need anything, buzz down to the secretary, and she'll get it for you. Within reason, of course, so no harassing your female subordinates young stallion! Now, there is a file in the top drawer of your desk outlining the details of what your job will entail. I would like you to read that over before lunch and then begin evaluating the tenant cases in the second drawer. Work at your own pace, these are just to get you warmed up and in the swing of things, they aren't priority cases. Feel free to leave the office for lunch, and you may return home at five o'clock. Or whenever you finish. I'll see you tomorrow morning and help mentor you on how to get better, since only perfect practice makes perfect! Right now, though, I'm out of town on some important business, so you are in charge around here. Best of luck son!

P.S.: There are six full suits in the closet, of different colors and styles. Please change into one of them before you begin working, and take them home with you. I would like you in suits every day for work.   

 

After reading the note, Windy trotted into the bathroom and put on one of the suits. Coming out of the bathroom and cockily posing in the mirror and adjusting his tie, he smiled and sat down at the, no, his desk and opened the first drawer to begin reading.
